It might probably be beneficial to add a few of these strings in the "randomizer" algorithm... Just sharing this idea to yield to a more realistic experience... I'm glad you like the user agent feature.

I agree with you that we need to expand the random string variables to the random data array. It means that this proxy tool will have at least 45-48M+ different user agents - which is fine with us. ;)

We are very close in finishing on the improvements to the awesome proxy tool FF plugin, which I think it will be ready by this Wednesday night ( New York time).

Until then, please stay tuned. :cool:

Hi all,

The Proxy Tool FF plugin is nearly finished. Unfortunately, it will not be ready until tomorrow night.

While we are tweaking/playing with it for several days, we realized that we need to add the fine detailed display recently, such as:

- Display country/city and proxy index number tooltip on every Shift+S (rotate proxy)
- Display country/city tooltip when mousing over 1-100 proxies on the proxy list (http(s), socks4 and socks5)
- Display "Site/Flash Cookies are cleared" message tooltip after Shift+C keyboard shortcut is used.

I am confident that the "final" version will be ready for release to public by tomorrow night.

It's a great addon! The best i have tried so far!

Some minor thing i don't like. The tool is auto enabling in browser start. Can i change this?

The proxy tool FF plugin should be ready by tonight after dealing with the locale (languages) and tiny details that need to be updated/corrected first. (it's called creeping features.)

You can disable it using the settings or change back to Default Mode.

You'll like the next revision.

I checked it and actually it's not the addon issue. I installed the quick proxy and it do the same. When i open new window or restart the browser it's auto enabling. That's strange. Does anyone know what might be causing this? My firefox version is 3.5.15.

We do not have the issue here.

Meanwhile, we expect the proxy tool FF Plugin to be released to public by tonight (Sunday night). Sorry about the delays due to the mishaps ( locale/language revisions, etc.). Few beta testers who tested them are happy with the latest version.

We want to ensure that we want to "perfect" the proxy tool FF plugin to the best quality level, not "good enough" level. Also, we need to finish updating the help page too.

Until then, please stay tuned.
 
I'm interested in this tool and like it but the free proxies are really far too slow, can't get anything to load.

Are you paid proxy lists tested for speed?

Yes they should. It depends on many factors as described here:

1) The common problem is the slow loading web page when using the proxies. When it happens, you will need to use better DNS (such as Google public DNS) added to your computer network properties to speed up the proxies (see my recent post here)

2) You can paste the IP : Port from the paid proxy lists to the proxy tool textbox (see below)

Proxy IP : Port (by default, HTTP/HTTPS proxy type is selected).

I saw the same error as yours a while ago. Yes, it's due to Firefox browser.

it seems to be a very useful tool here ! just discover it.
I am using TOR to be connected with another identity/proxy, i will download your tool to see if it is better
