Thank you very much for this. I didn mean that we are planning to create our own infrastructure. We will be reselling at the first place. 30k is our first investment into the web system and marketing. We don't plan to build infrastructure now.
Yep I understood that. Which is why I said that "Your resale infrastructure is your USP".
Just to be clear - in the proxy reselling space, your web system and client panel is your core infrastructure. You don't need physical server racks, but your software layer has to be rock solid. You do need the customer-facing and operational layer that sits between your upstream providers and customers.
You don't need to build the actual proxy infrastructure, but you still need a proper system to manage the business. Most providers will give you access to a panel + API. The system that handles your clients need to be built by you.
If you're dropping €30k into the web build and marketing, here is what your software stack needs to cover - at minimum I would look at
Customer portal - registration, plans, proxy management, credentials, usage, renewals, invoices etc.
Provisioning - ideally API integrations with your upstream providers so an order automatically provisions the proxies. You don't want someone manually creating accounts/proxies every time you get an order.
Supplier abstraction - this is important IMO. Don't build your whole business around one provider. Your system should ideally allow you to have Provider A, B and C behind the scenes while the customer only deals with your brand - You!
Billing - payments, subscriptions, credits, refunds, invoices, failed payments, coupons, CDKey etc.
Admin panel - your team needs to be able to see customers, orders, usage, payments, provision/re-provision accounts, replace proxies, issue credits etc.
Monitoring - supplier/API status, provisioning failures, proxy availability, bandwidth, errors etc. You need to know there is a problem before your customer tells you.
Support - ticketing/live chat + enough visibility into the customer's account that support can actually solve problems without going back and forth for 20 emails.
Abuse/fraud controls - don't overlook this one. With proxies you will eventually have to deal with abuse complaints, fraudulent payments, bad actors etc. Have policies and processes for this from day one.
I'd recommend, that you don't burn €20k+ custom-coding basic dashboard features from scratch. Put a part of your budget into customizing a proven stack, and keep the remaining strictly for customer acquisition, SEO, forum sticky threads, and affiliate incentives. That's what actually grows the business.
