Proxy Goblin VS Proxy Multiply

I believe it (Bleach) comes with forum proxy leecher as a moduler. I saw Proxygo refer to it in previous post. Don't know if it's available as a separate entity?
I assume it will advise you of working level 1,2 or 3 proxies. If that is the case, then i see PM having similar capabilities; such as anon, elite, S/B, speed test, etc in the testing phase..
I to am new to harvesting proxies, so someone correct me if i'm wrong (hate making assumptions).
Btw, after going thru the steps of searching and harvesting.. I wouldn't mind just subscribing to a service such as Poxygo. It would be to easy to open an email and get all my proxies for the day. Not there yet, but in the interim i guess i'll have to do it myself
Not bashing your software Jrim_Software, i really have nothing to compare it to, but i find that it has a lot of features, easy to use, good support and reasonably priced (i'm on a 7 day trial, but all looks GOOD! and will most likely purchase). I have not tried PG, so i can not comment.
Terry, you're working too hard! You can just enable automation and set it to send you an e-mail with the proxy list. Or, you can sign up for The Proxy List (see my signature) and receive daily e-mails with 3,000+ proxies.
Jrim_Software, I hear ya'.. I'm just experimenting trying to find some "good" proxies to run thru S/B. Problem i'm having now is that the proxies are not working with harvesting S/B custom footprint.. ie allintitle:.. But i see your automate features are very nice
I download Proxy Multiply demo. Its says v48 and force update to v50. When updating antivirus (comodo) warn about malware in proxy_multiply_updater.exe (or similar name) and delete file. Could You please fix this issue of malware in Your program? I would like to test it.

Being a developer myself I am inclined to say this is more than likely an issue with your AV scanner, you should be able to set an exception for PM in Comodo and prevent it from deleting the file. In my opinion if an AV scanner is removing files without your consent then it is not doing its job correctly.
I am sure this is a false positive, they happen very often with some AV scanners.
Think I'm going to have to test Proxy Multiply.
Perhaps I've misconfigured Goblin, but to me, I found it a bit of a resource hog. Actually strike that, a massive resource hog. This was so much the case that I've disabled it now and am back to manually using PFE, proxygo's weekday lists and the scrapebox harvester.

there are 3 tools out there that do exactly the same job
proxy goblin - proxy multiply - proxy grabber -
i own the latter one but havnt used it in 3 yrs even though
my license is still active .
the premise is to collect thousands
of public proxies either socks / http and test them. the likely
return will always be 5k or less working http not google checked but live
and 2-400 socks.
from a public list of http proxies u can expect to
get maybe 3/400 slow google passed proxies, but, the list you
will test to get them will be many tens of thousands, but the working
5k rule always applys, so even if u get 50k http proxies or 100k leeched
only 5k or less will return live status. and thats just the way it is.

i saw 1 guy post a few days back he got 550k leeched proxies from either
proxy goblin - proxy multiply - i forget which 1 it was, baring in mind the 5k
http rule, it meant 545k at least would be dead and even if 5k were live at
the start of the proxy test, the time it would take to test 550k http proxies
would kill half of the few proxies that would work.

What you said last applies only to those listed basic tools. You'll see very soon upon NPS public release how it will enforce any other proxy leecher/proxy checker developer recode their softwares in order to compete.
If someone was not able to read between lines, proxy leeching, testing and scanning goes to a whole new level. At the moment you must use too many different tools and according to what I've read from this forum, results are crappy and checking is painfully slow using those basic tools.
Upon the public release of NPS, proxygo's theories will be disproved There will be a set of new unseen features and you'll only have to use one tool.

I saw that Proxy Goblin is for sale. Actually got an e-mail telling me from developer and also saw that they were up for sale on Flippa but it didn't happen. Hopefully this doesn't mean it's going to go away. Loved the software! Fingers crossed they'll just keep updating it.

transparent proxies
keywords should only be the proxies on
which ports your looking for.

and leech the proxies from the urls
found - set google search to 24 hrs
test found proxies in bleech, test the
finished proxies from bleech in scrapebox
should get you 1-200 google passed.
and no testing a list of 60-100k to get them

ive heard people say that since i came in to proxys in 2004
you think you will walk in of the street and re define the public proxy
scene , any tool you will ever make has been made a thousand times
b4 yours and will do the same job, your programe wont change the
face of the proxy industry although everyone who makes a tool
thinks theres will and it never ever does. im not saying more tools isnt
better because it is, choice is always good.. but your tool as apposed
to anyone else wont make things better or worse... because your tool
will have been made in several formats with a different face...
i wish you well but remember this, humility is a good thing, but constantly
going round saying, your the best , your tools are the best, i will prove
proxygo wrong, i admire your work but you need spend less time bashing
people and there work and do your own thing.

I've been using Proxy Multiply for now 2 weeks and im more than satisfied, only thing i would love about it would be a port to linux, but you can't have everything Jrim_Software has been a great with support and also helped me outside of Proxy Multiply.
If you dont want to go with Proxy Multiply, i srsly dont know what's wrong with you...

I fully understand you. I will take it more easy from now. Why don't you give it a go and verify it, you know my thread. After that you'll see that I haven't been bullshitting around. Also considering your experience, I would definitely like to hear your honest opinion about it.

my pc is set up so be able to scan for public proxies
this means my pc runs xp sp1
if you didnt no this, any pc running above xp+sp1
has major issues scanning for proxies this is
because service pack 2 has built in blocks on tcp
port scanning, yes there are files that will open
aprox 30% of scanning ports but still anything
above xp/sp1 is 70% down limmited.
most proxy tools will not work today on xp with sp1
and im guessing yours will not either..
this means my pc runs xp sp1

For windows XP, have you tried TCP-Z http://deepxw.blogspot.com/2009/01/download-latest-version.html? This is handy tool even for windows 7 users, I mean you can also monitor with it half-open TCP connections. Very handy.
I've a windows XP VPS but it's using SP3. This tool is a web application, that means it runs on windows over XAMP. I am almost sure it will work also on your PC. You're using it with your favorite browser.
