i did that only as a 1 time thing to show port scanning
proxies is far superior to just scraping. always will be
10 meg connection - thats basic in the uk -

I use Proxy goblin and have it run all the time. Seems to be working just fine.
I have it running on 3 machines and then let them save to the proxy list in drop box every hour.

The It is suppose to integrate with No Hand SEO and Scrapebox and a bnch of other tools, but that is not working so well for me, because i have learned that it does not update either No Hand SEO or Scrapebox while these tools are running, that mean you need to restart NHS and SB just to get the fresh proxies, that kind of sucks because i leave my tools running 24/7 and was hoping the proxies could have been refreshed while these tools are running, If anyone know a way let me know please.

I have also been using "Hide My Ass PRO VPN" and i am very happy with that as it works will all tools i have BMD, NHS, SB and some others. I just let it refresh every 2 min. to a random ip and all seems fine.

I have never used Proxy multiplier so cant comment on that.

If you have plenty of money, then i would suggest just to get a bunch of private proxies and replace them monthly.

type in a custom foot print like elite proxies
set google search to only search for links of proxies
in the last 24 hrs. then leech the links of proxies in
scrapeboxes url leecher. save list. most u will get
is 6-8k after removing dupes. then either test in bleech
for working anons. or test in scrapebox proxie tester for
working google proxies.. cheaper easier and quicker

I DID EXACTLY WHAT YOU SAID!!!

And I ended up with a 150 good proxies - all ready for google! I never get past 15! I was so excited.

I put elite proxies in the custom footprint
Harvested with google - no results past 24 hours
I then took the links that it harvested and added them as sources in the proxy harvester
Then I harvested from the proxy sources and ended up with 10,000 proxies
Removed the duplicate ones and ended up with 6000
Then I tested them in bleach
And I ended up with about 1000 useful proxies
I put those into the scrapebox tester and ended up with 150 good proxies!


Now I'm blasting away with an AA list I found over in the vip section --- I love JR VIP :D
I can't afford proxies right now so I'll use public proxies for now

i harvest around 6/8k public proxies
per go. and get around
1k google passed, but i do it my self no bought payed
tools.
 
well your custom foot print should be something like
elite proxies - anonymous proxies -

keywords are important to so list some proxie ports
that way the search is only looking for proxies on
thoes ports.
 
There's a new post on Sick Submitter (the website) that gives a pretty good comparison. In a nutshell, the author prefers Proxy Multiply to Proxy Goblin quite a bit because Proxy Multiply is faster, less work and delivers more and better quality proxies.

Well it would be really cool if ProxyMultiply would follow Proxygoblin and create "plugins" which run the proxies through the software... and if it is alot faster at testing then i would definitely buy!!

testing speed is a major issue for me because the other day i tested around 20-30k proxies on goblin and it took around 5-6 HOURS to complete.

scrapebox could have tested them ALOT faster, but im wanting an automated proxy software which i can leave on all day and can update my programs with fresh proxies, although as someone has already said scrapebox still doesnt have the ability to change the proxy list while running which i think is a massive dissadvantage.

So my verdict currently is just to use Scrapebox proxy harvester with some custom URLs and find a good 500-1000 proxies...

I was using Proxy Multiply for two weeks, and I'm impressed by how fast it does things. I'm glad I found this thread, learned new ways to tweak the software so that I only get Google enabled proxies. I mainly use the proxies for my keyword research, and the proxies harvested by PM are really good. I just purchased it today, and I'm very glad I was able to get the 50% BHW discount.
 
With the recent update of NHS you no longer need the NHS pluging for Proxy Goblin, as you now can specify the proxylist location and how often it need to update.
This is really cool so i have Proxy Goblin running on 2 machines and set each to run and get a min. of 100 Elite, Google friendly proxies every 30 min. I start each PG instance 15 min. apart from each other. I created a task in both instances of PG to save my proxylist in dropbox. So i have a update proxylist about every 15 min. in dropbox.

I have not tried Proxy Multiply but will take a look, for sure
 
actually theres a tool that does the same
as proxy goblin its been around since 2004
its called proxygrabber made by a guy called
marcus. scans for socks http / and lets u add
your own proxy judge. when i bought it in 2004
it was 25$ - as far as i no even today it still is

Hi, you should download a free 7 day trial of Proxy Multiply to use with NHSEO! You can set Proxy Multiply to automatically scrape+test proxies and output them to a text file, which NHSEO will then read. PM me if you need more help and be sure to use the link from the BST section for a 50% BHW discount on the software :)
 
I've been testing Proxy Multiply for a few days and seems like you can do alot with it. Not to go off subject but how does it compare to "forum proxy leecher"? & FPL module bleach?

Is the PM tester, similar to Bleach, in which you can test several aspects of the different proxies?

apologies for my noobie question , i am not so familiar about the bleach part , where do we get this sw ?
 
I believe it (Bleach) comes with forum proxy leecher as a moduler. I saw Proxygo refer to it in previous post. Don't know if it's available as a separate entity?

I assume it will advise you of working level 1,2 or 3 proxies. If that is the case, then i see PM having similar capabilities; such as anon, elite, S/B, speed test, etc in the testing phase..

I to am new to harvesting proxies, so someone correct me if i'm wrong (hate making assumptions).

Btw, after going thru the steps of searching and harvesting.. I wouldn't mind just subscribing to a service such as Poxygo. It would be to easy to open an email and get all my proxies for the day. Not there yet, but in the interim i guess i'll have to do it myself :(

Not bashing your software Jrim_Software, i really have nothing to compare it to, but i find that it has a lot of features, easy to use, good support and reasonably priced (i'm on a 7 day trial, but all looks GOOD! and will most likely purchase). I have not tried PG, so i can not comment.
