Protect Myself From Getting Sued

When you're selling services related to social media aka followers or views how do you prevent a company like Facebook or Twitter from suing you?

Is there anything that I can do to protect myself because although I'm making great money, in the case of getting sued I don't think I could afford to protect myself.
 
Advertise on BHW
Sell service through third part site like freelancing sites or host your own site on offshore host and register domain with fake info

If the domain is already under my own name can I change it? Also, I am currently in the process of moving to an offshore host so thanks for that advice!
Another thing that I was thinking about is the fact that payments will still be coming to me so this can be tracked pretty easily.

Change your domain and redirect old one. Use stealth paypal accounts, the old one with payment and receipt history.

They will follow the money - that is how CL caught me years ago.

"Sell" the domain to the fake whois guy.
 
You can resell yourself the domain or just transfer it to another registrant where you can register with fake name and info. The problem is that domain names can be traced - what changes have been made. That being said you can say you have sold it for money .
 
If they decide to follow the money trail, which they will, it does not matter what you do, they WILL find you. So, unless you have a backup plan for that, everything else is secondary and does not matter as much.

I completely agree with this but that's kind of what I'm trying to figure out here. Any ideas on how to approach the money trail problem?

Have your get away money and fake passport prepared at all times.

On a more serious note:
Relocate to a country where their lawyers can't touch you or don't do illegal stuff. As BTB said, they will just follow the money. If you can't anonymize the money funnel - which you won't be able to without violating more laws - it doesn't make any difference, where you host your site. Purely BTC payments is still not an option, it's not widely used enough.
 
Company in offshore country - Russia.

Okay, thanks for the feedback. I think I'm going to talk with a lawyer tomorrow to see if what I'm doing is even illegal.

You won't find advice on how to anonymize the money trail on a public forum, because that's essentially like asking how to do money laundering. I can give you a few ideas (untested though as I don't deal with this, just heard from associates who have done it before) if you want, but not on this thread.
 
You will get caught for sure if they decide to follow the money. You could also try using stealth PayPal and cash out that way but that's hard. Or accept bitcoin only and you won't have any issues at all.

Being an American or not does not matter when you have a giant like FB suing you. MP's owners were from Romania and that didn't stop FB/IG from shutting it down.
