Hi everyone,

I’m looking to promote a sweepstake CPA offer using a YouTube video as part of the funnel.
Has anyone here had success with this method?

I’d love to hear your insights on:
  • Best practices to get traffic from YouTube to the offer
  • Whether to use a direct link, bridge page, or prelander
  • How to avoid YouTube bans or flags on sweep-related content
Any tips, examples, or guidance would be highly appreciated!
Thanks in advance

Hey, do you want to run ads or organic YouTube videos?

If ads:

- for the content, show what the people can win and tell what they can win.
- use conversion tracking
- use a prelander
- cloaking is necessary, if you don’t cloak and show brand logos anywhere you get suspension really fast
- you need good payouts to make it work

For CPA + YouTube, I would say things work best when you focus the content of the video around giving genuine value, this could be something like an unboxing, a tutorial, or a storytelling angle that naturally brings the viewer to your offer as opposed to just making it look sell-sell-sell. To generate traffic, in your call-to-action, you should link part of the story and include a memorable graphic and URL in videos as well as in the description. Specifically, I would recommend funneling through some sort of light bridge or pre-lander as it warms traffic, allows you to track how the traffic engages, and keeps the destination URL out of the description (less of a chance to take a YouTube action).

And to stay under YouTube’s radar, avoid overusing “sweepstakes” or “win” in your title and thumbnail, comply strictly with their community guidelines, and include standard disclaimers in the video and description. Lastly, pepper your description with genuine keywords rather than spammy tags, and moderate comments to maintain a positive, compliant channel reputation. Good luck.

Thanks a lot for the tips, really appreciate it!
I'm talking about CPA + YouTube Ads — I mean promoting a video that includes a CPA offer through YouTube ads.
My issue is that I’m not sure which type of CPA offers work best with this method.
Do you have any recommendations for verticals or specific offer types that perform well with YouTube Ads?

I have not done it, so I'm not sure if it works. Since YouTube ads are not cheap, that's not easy to make a profit from running cpa offers on youtube ads but if you've seen other youtube ads that promote CPA offers, try to copy them because if they run it, it's profitable for them but if you have not seen any other YouTube ads prompting cpa offers, this means there is no money to be made through this.
