Promoting a non-marketplace approved service

Let's say I want to sell an Instagram account that's probably only worth $20 but don't want to spend $30 on a listing fee (my actual case).

Can I, within BHW's guidelines, have it promoted for sale in my signature?

Furthermore, what if I wanted to create a new service, one that's not in the marketplace or approved by a MOD, but want to have it promoted in my signature?

Of course, it wouldn't be a smart move (business wise) to not have a service in the marketplace but this is an inquiry strictly on the rule(s).

This post isn't in anyway intended to circumvent BHW rules. Any inquiries on my IG account will be ignored.

I just wanted clarification on the rules of this.

You can advertse website to a deal but that it you can not advertise directly within the sig as a sale

Then your need a link to a website to sell the instagram account .

You can not use the sig as a sales page

I believe you can advertise services in your signature without a BST. You can post affiliate links so I don't see it as being much different. It's possible I'm wrong but I'm pretty certain you're good to go. You just can't include a CTA.

You are not allowed to directly sell off a sig

Cat for sale go here link <<<< allowed

I suggest you wait for another moderator to respond to this thread, but I don't think it's prohibited so long as you abide by the signature rules.

That was my main concern. Obviously, a member whose selling one account isn't going to create a BST.

However, any members with a marketplace thread that sells IG accounts are required to verify ownership of the accounts for sale.

This, precisely was why I was curious as to the rule of this.

I know it's not that BIG of a deal but doesn't hurt to ask.

I always thort you had to use a link of a self sales page on a sig

I didn' think you was allowed to self promote a product service with out a website link .

This is why I suggested that the OP wait for another mod to chime in here. However, my statement was based on the following:

• Jr. VIPs can use their signature space to promote affiliate links.
• Jr. VIPs can use a site they sell services on as their homepage URL.

Hypothetically, if OP decided to link to a sales page on his website using his signature space, I don't see anything wrong with the idea so long as he abides by the signature space rules that have already been put forth.
