Don't quit coffee altogether.
The positive effects have been proven time and again.
Personally I used to drink 3 cups of coffee throughout the day followed up with a couple of energy drinks in between (redbull or anything else).
After a while I saw that the positive effect of the caffeine wasn't as powerful as it used to be.
A feeling like my body got used to it and when I had to drink coffee just to feel normal.
Anyway doing some research I found out that your body actually prepares for the caffeine dose and tries to prevent if from having it's effect on the brain just because you're scheduled to drink it.
Making drinking coffee with a schedule less and less effective.
Now I'm not going into the science of it, you can google and find out for yourself but I've found out this to be the best solution for me.
1- Wake up in the morning and eat a fresh fruit (apple, pear etc.) something that crunches. This will help you wake up.
2- Eat a protein rich breakfast (couple of eggs, bacon etc.) followed with a glass of juice.
3- Drink your one and only coffee. (wAht U' cRaZzY?!?!) That's enough to wake you up.
4- At around 4-6PM take a <30 minute nap!

This is your miracle! Napping is just awesome! I do this every single day and it's raised both my productivity and my attention.
Watch the video and understand for yourselves.
Result:
- I've been on 1 cup of coffee since September 2012
- I never feel sleepy
- The 30 minute nap feels like I've slept for 10 hours
Maybe this isn't for everyone but I'm just sharing my experience.
