Productivity tips to kill procrastination and some random wisdom

Hi NouveauRiche, ( do you speak french? )

Very well said. I know BHW isn't a place where people are fond of speaking about habits and a "winning mindset" but they are a fundamental part of making money online. Don't stop writing advice like this. It's super helpful. Any tips on how to become very focused on the goal and not being distracted? Perhaps you should create a BTS thread were you offer your services in coaching and being held accountable ( goals wise). The first of its kind in BHW. And I'm not even joking.

Do you watch Dan P**a? Hope to see a Journal from you in the future if your time allows it.

Really, thanks a lot mate :)
What about Dan Pena?

Dan Pena is a very interesting guy, i pretty much follow all of the big guys but never blindly believe what they say, even though i usually agree with most of the things they say.
Btw no my french is very amateur :D

5) You will only live about 900 months (75 years), if you're 25 years old you've already wasted 300 months, and you'll be spending about 200 of the remaining 600 months SLEEPING, you do the math.
You're literally THAT CLOSE to being 60 years old without having ever done anything in your life.

This is terrifying. Thanks for sharing.

Real procrastination is skimming through this list and bookmarking it and saying : I will read it later.

You can achieve pretty much any goal in less than 3 years
This coming from real successful people, any goals in 3 years besides getting rich, or getting to $1 mil. That would take more or less 10 years for most people working their ass off 60-80 hours per week. But some make it faster, just very few

If 1 million takes you 10 years you’re clearly doing it wrong.

That’s like saying it’s impossible to lose 40kg if you lose 1kg a year, if you’re losing 1kg a year then you should consider changing your diet or workout, same thing for getting rich, you don’t get rich flipping burgers for 50 years, that’s the definition of broke.

Saving up all your life so that you will have some money to enjoy when you’re too old to enjoy it, what a strategy.

The only way to get rich is quick, not THAT quick like get-rich-quick schemes, but you can definitely go from having 2k in your bank account to making 2k a day in a year and a half, i mean it.

Making 2k a day on semi-autopilot is rich, having 1 million in your bank account at the age of 70 is not.
Plus 1 mil isn’t even that much money, i’m literally about to have that (still a couple months to go) it’s not even serious money, it’s more like “good family” money, like “dad’s a surgeon, mom’s a lawyer” money, not “rich money”.

A million a year, half a million a year, THAT’s starting to be serious money.

Agree with everything you said. Of course if you're smart enough and figure it out in 1.5 years great.

What I should've mentioned probably in my initial post is that ANYONE can get to $1mil , in at most 10 years, and probably even faster. That is, there's a set blueprint for that, which very simplified is: Learn transferrable skills such as Sales, Synthesis or Numerics (only if you're a wiz) -> get a career in Entrerpise Sales/Wall Street (highest paying career choices and the only ones really worth going to a good college for) and/or Start a Business with the capital gained from your career - this is a very simplified version. Of course someone is gonna start a biz before finishing highschool, or do what you're doing. But this is a blueprint for anyone, no excuses.

Then again I'm only really managing to make good progress this year and I'm nowhere near you on a hustle level from what you said, so don't take my words as expert advice

But that's not a blueprint, looks like it, but it's not. It is not because there are too many variables involved, what if you lose your job? What if the company you work for goes bankrupt cus someone higher than you makes a mistake? That's the blueprint most people follow, and pretty much none of them has the result such blueprint is supposed to get you.

If you have all the responsibility then everything is your choice. Anyone can be a millionaire in less than 3 years if they do the right things, but they don't, because they follow that other "blueprint" even though there's plenty of evidence suggesting it does not work, it doesn't because it's based on a "let's see what happens" approach, but hoping is not a strategy, and definitely not a plan.

Take Jeff Bezos, he has a 147 BILLION net worth at the age of 56, that equals to making 7.2 million EVERY DAY since he's born. If he made it then anyone can, he's human just like all of us, he just did the right things to get there, he didn't make mistakes other people make because he simply learnt from other people's mistakes without having to go through useless trial and error.

The thing is that a million in under 3 years is a very easy goal to achieve, but you need a plan for that, you can't just hope it happens, but it's kinda easy to achieve, that's an average of 913$ a day, not crazy money, but if you're starting from zero today then you will have to get to the point you're making 5k a day 3 years from now, which is totally doable, but you need to learn how to do that, and you only do that by having a business, if you must have a business then you have to learn about business, what makes businesses money is marketing, so you need marketing skills, marketing is based on manipulation so you need manipulation skills. You simply find out how it's done by going backwards, you start from the goal and you develop a strategy starting from there, not the other way around.

There's only ONE straight line between two points in space, one point is you today, the other one is you being a millionaire 3 years from now, all you have to do is start from the end and find out what the straightest line is.

It's like a maze, there's only one way, and it's much easier to figure it out if you start from the center of the maze to find a way out rather than entering the maze and trying and trying and trying until you eventually get to the center before you're 50.

Very powerful message. I feel like I've wasted all my life. I must print these points and put them on my wall.

One thing that I think could be helpful though I rarely do it - make a deadline to do the imp things by a certain time in the morning. After that you can chill for the rest of the day and you'll be guilt-free! When I leave the important things for later I don't want to be doing them but I do still suffer from that stress of having to do them.
