I have been trying to get a Facebook account for 20 years. Yet it is impossible. Facebook finally did away with their government ID, mobile phone, and face scan requirements to get an account. I was so excited! So I created an account. I found some old friends and family, which I have lost contact with, since moving abroad. And some nostalgic groups.
I posted on Facebook: "In this episode, the hospital orderly, 'Gregg', was also credited by the same name in the original series from 1972. Also, I love the Forever Knight cast all doing a cameo at once. That bus station, which no longer exists, has the bus that goes to my hometown in NY. I have been there many times."
"YOU HAVE BEEN BANNED FOR FRAUD!"
What the heck was fraudulent about anything I said? I have spent about 80 hours talking to Meta Support ever the past week. That bot just lies and contradicts itself constantly. "You are not banned at all. You have no restrictions." Then "You are restricted for fraud." I never committed fraud. It is criminal libel to falsely accuse me. "I never said you committed fraud. I only said you were banned for fraud." That is literally the same thing. Why did you tell me at first I had no restrictions? "Because you have no restrictions. Your account is in good standing. Great job!" Why can't I add friends or family? "You can only add people, who are friends with your other friends." But if I cannot add friends, how do I add friends of friends. Also, not all of my friends know each other. "Your account is only 12 days old (It is about 60 days old). Facebook restricts when new accounts can add friends." So when can I add friends? "You can add friends the moment you create an account. No need to wait!" What did I post that was fraudulent? "You attempted to post more than once in a 30 day period. Facebook considers this fraud." But I see people post hundreds of things a day. This limit is once per month? Why even leave the option to post again then, only to ban people? "There is no limit to how many post you can make a day. Post to your heat's content, unlimited!"
Facebook told me that if I update my high school and hometown, they will lift my ban. They did not. When I asked, they said the never said that. I told them I have the chat logs. They said "I know you strongly think I said that, but I never did." I literally have the chat logs! Then it told me if I logged out for 3 days, it would restore my account. Same thing. "I know you feel strongly that I said that, but I never did". My account is still in good standing, with zero violations, with a score of 100. Facebook also says this is a delusion of mine. When if fact, the chat bot even confirmed my account is in perfect standing. Yet also permanently banned, with no option for appeal. They said they do not do shadow banning. Permanently disabling my account, while allowing me to login, and telling me I have a perfect account, is the definition of shadow banning. Why is this not in the news?
They told me I was permanently banned today, for chatting with the AI support. That was also "fraud".
It told me one time, adding friends is a violation. In order to get back in touch with family and friends I have not seen in 30-40 years, I should just call them, and tell them to add me. Why did I not think of that? Oh yeah, because I lost their phone numbers decades ago! That is why I am using a horrible website to reconnect with them! If I had their phone numbers, why would I add them on Facebook? lol
What is worse, is Facebook is filled with scammers and people making gruesome, violent threats. None of which are ever banned!
BTW-That chatbot is NOT "AI"! It is mostly scripted text, but it is Filipinos! I know, because if you tell it Indians give better customer service than Filipinos, it gets mad and ends the chat! Ha ha! Why would an AI get mad?
It has also sent me to about 20 different pages for appeals, and if you follow the instructions it gives you, none of those options are on that page.
I swear, it is only for demoralisation. Nothing more.
How do millions of people use Facebook? Why can I not? What is the secret? Am I too autistic to see how what I said was "fraud"?
Thanks guys.
