I got a message from Facebook about their change regarding first party cookies being the default now. As far as I understand it, it means that if I have advertising campaigns on FB that are pointing to my own landing pages, which in turn point to the vendor's page, I won't be able to track conversions on my FB account even though I have a pixel placed in the vendor's thank you page.
In order to be able to track the conversion back to my campaign I need to be able to pass the unique identifier FB gave that certain ad click onto the vendor's website, and the vendor needs to drop this identifier in their own cookie in a manner that FB will be able to use it.
Can someone technical please confirm this is the case and if there's any other solution to the issue?
