hi guys ,

i'm working on building email list and i manage to get 10 to 25 emails / day with free methods .
i created a my own Thank you page and the opt-in rate dropped to 0 or 1 .
Can anyone help to figure out what the probelm is ?

screenshot of TY bellow :

You mean they don't confirm link in their inbox? If yes, then try using single opt-in instead of double opt-in.

Try a different thank you page then! Split test the heck out of it and find which one converts the best! Also, get someone to proof read your thank you pages as it doesn't read as native English.

I guess that offer is causing the issue. Try to remove it and watch the results.

I cann't do signle optin when i'm using mailchimp free account , i stuck with it now , and when i see conversion and my funnel is ok , i will move to aweber and single option .
i used doupe option with default TY of mailchimp and i got subs .
that happen when i changed to my own TY , double opting can decrease opt-in rate but not to 0 .
i think the problem from my TY it's self or from mailchimp since they send me a message asking for name of list and url of Squeeze page and TY

Interesting:

The flow should be
-Opt In
-They Go check their email
-Confirm
-Free Cookbook gets sent to them

For some reason with the Thank You Page they are either not checking their email, nor do not care about the offer anymore.

Where does your "Learn More" button go to...an affiliate offer?

The absolute problem with your landing page is that you have sent mixed messages to your readers. You want them to go click a link in an email, yet you provide them a completely different link to click directly on page. They cannot do two things at one time in their browser. Well a lot of people can, but these people - not so much. :)

Anyway, you need to tighten that up as suggested above. The only thing on that Thank You Page should be the message telling them to click the link in their email to receive their incentive. Do not confuse your people. Try to remember moving forward that everything we do in IM is with intention. If you more clearly understand your intention in any given customer interaction or front-facing landing page - you won't make these kinds of mistakes. Of course - we've all been there. I'm sure I even did this once or twice rushing through some setups.

Get 'er done OP!

thank you guys , i removed the offer and button , i figure out this can work on single opting.

may be later , i will add exit splash script , when people click on exit to leave squeeze page then redirect them rto offer . but not now.

to some sales . i put on the donwload page under giveway , CB offer .

My stats :
5 hops /day
10 To 25 subscribers /day
0 sales

i'm not set up follow ups yet ; because i'm using mailchimp free plan ,
in your opinion , what can i do to see some sales . move to paid plan and set up follow up . or send them direct message till i make sales ?

You can still have a thank-you page that has an offer, but you need to give clearer instructions to your audience.

Say something like - "Thanks for signing up! Your free ebook will arrive in your inbox in just 5 minutes. While you wait, go watch this video here, it teaches you [insert sales pitch]" and then have the page AUTOMATICALLY REDIRECT after 5 seconds or so, with a button to click-through faster.

This way the readers are like "oh thats cool I need to kill time before I go back to my email inbox and get my ebook, hey why don't I go watch this interesting video."

^^^ That is how you do it.

in this case , i use double optin and i try to insert offer like you said but i had a negative effect on option rate .
we must make the process as simple as possible , don't make it harder for subscribers
