I've wrote this at least a dozen times, I've told newbs by pm.... but noone ever listens. Using private proxies with GSA is just stupid. I've tried not to stir controversy around this topic but it makes no sense for the following reasons:
1) They always get banned within a couple hours.
2) Once they're banned, you have to go back to using public proxies anyway while waiting for your supplier to replace them.
3) You have to constantly monitor your proxies / replace / message your supplier which wastes A LOT of time.
4) I've used 4 or 5 different proxy providers (who were highly recommended) and not 1 time did I see a significant increase in my LPM. In fact, I wound up using public proxies about 22 hours out of every day cause I'd have to wait a day just for my proxies to get replaced. So meanwhile I'm PAYING for private but I'm actually using public most of the time anyway.
5) If you take that $$$ that you would spend on proxies every month ($30-$50), and put that towards a dedicated server, then use PUBLIC proxies, with good verified lists, you'll get a much better LPM than using some shitty VPS with proxies that get banned every 2 hours and always need to be monitor'd and replaced.
One day I just snapped and said "eff it". I stopped using private proxies, put that money towards a server, got awesome verified lists, optimized the hell out of GSA, and with 114 campaigns I'm consistently breaking 1 mil links/day. I know there are some proxy conspiracy theorists and I DO believe they have their uses. But not for GSA. Put that money towards something more useful like a server.
