PRISON for fake PPD website? Advice needed

Unfortunately, I've only read on similar suits based in US & no real experience with cross-border copyright infringement cases. I'm not sure how DCMA & safe harbor status plays into your site/business's policy being based in EU. I hate referencing wikipedia, but check this: wiki/Online_Copyright_Infringement_Liability_Limitation_Act (again this is US) & I also found ec.europa.eu/internal_market/e-commerce/directive/index_en.htm

I wish I could help more, but search 'online cross-border copyright infringement cases'. As others have stated, look into some legal advise from firms, but focus on those who have a track-record of online copyright infringement claims.

I wouldn't be surprised by any claim - if someone even remotely thinks they can get money recouped from a competitor, they'll jump on it.

I don't doubt that. I'm just genuinely sick of seeing people around here trying to catch other people "off guard" seizing an opportunity to attack them like a clan of hyenas so can they make fun of them with their buddies. I just won't admit people trying to pull that BS on me, no matter their contribution to this forum.

People are regularly banned from this forum who then rejoin with a new username. And often they make comments similar to the one you had made, which is why your comment aroused suspicion.

There are also people who come here purely to scam others - they are discovered and banned pretty quickly. And they often come back and try again.

The people you are assuming to be 'seizing an opportunity to attack' others are the ones who 'out' more of those scammers than anybody else.

It's not a case of people being hyenas or attacking people for fun. It's older members looking out for less experienced members.

Once you have been here a while you will realize that.
 
Don't worry you will be just fine if you remove domain , it's very simple .

Tell them that you didn't made only a few bucks with this domain , don't tell them that you made $XXXXXX .

I also recived an email from Whatsapp to remove a website , i removed it in 24 hours and i replied that the domain is deleted and everything it's good until now .

By the time the Feds catch up to you that website and what you promote will be obsolete.

Don't fear the governments let them fear you.

Make sure you link to external sites and it will all be legal. Refuse the right upload files to your personal/business server.

Use filehosts!

That specific thing I can understand, I was talking more of people hijacking threads in order to be funny. Yesterday I was reading up some money making methods and people who couldn't speak english well (tho some could) would end up wording their question like "How can I make x amount in x time", and ok, that's not how you ask it, but come on, only free pay pal money generator jokes non-stop and people who would only go to those threads to further post those lame jokes with 0 intention of actually helping, and I know that these people who need money fast are most likely in a dire situation.

And today I made a thread trying to warn PirateBay users that FBI could be setting them up, and what do you know, another one of these funny guys shows up with 0 intention of actually contributing and just posts a "hurr durr, conspiracy pic" and ofc since he had shiny stars everyone would get on board of the circle jerk train. Then I come here, hey, what do you know again, another joke with 0 intention of contributing to the topic.

So then I'm just seeing this thread again and I read something very similar to what I had typed but it was in double quotes some other members replying to said quote, and what do you know, I read the username and turns out some other shiny stars trying to make fun of something I said or thinking I was just some dumb *ss who let his guard down. I just don't like people instantly assuming I'm an idiot.

If it's truly experienced members looking out for less experienced members, then they need to seriously improve on not harassing the f ck out of them.

The operative word is in your first post is "lately". It suggests at one time it was not like this. If there was a bookie willing to take a bet with me, I would bet my yearly wages that this is not your first account. As this is what is known as a dead cert bet.

Also it is just Veyron like to be "new" to a forum and start knocking complaints about.

He is just a bullshitter / scammer who makes account after account here. Makes it obvious by opening an account and laying down the rules, plus his same old shit stories. I am not in anyway saying Orangepie is Veyron, I was more saying if I was new to a forum, I would not start bashing members for what they do.

Just drop the domain, get a new hosting and install it again. These guys can't do anything if u throw down the site, and if u're using whois privacy then u don't have to worry.

When the f-ck did I start bashing members?? A guy was asking for help on how to respond to a letter that was saying he could get arrested and he could get some huge fines, and some guy gave some dum b *s-s response that contributed nothing. That response was the drop of water after the endless lame jokes i've been seeing LATELY, LIKE, MOMENTS AGO, A DAY AGO, TWO DAYS AGO, NOT FRE *AKING 4 OR 5 YEARS LIKE YOU SEEM TO BE CLAIMING.

Dude, where i live even if they came with a Tank or an aircraft carrier, they would not touch me. Wish i had such a website
