Prevent eye strain - protect your eyes

I have the same exact problems, have been taking eyedrops but this might be a better and cheaper alternative if it works for me. Thanks for sharing with us!

By the way, thanks again for posting this. I've been using it all day today and it's EXACTLY what I needed.

without this, I can literally stair at the screen all day without even blinking - and obviously that's really bad for my eyes. This app solves it.

only bad thing is that sometimes it doesn't close when you shut down computer, so it causes "end task" window to display.

You can use the promodoro technique. It will increase your productivity, spark creativity and also protect your eyes from the monitor.

Just go to http://tomato-timer.com/.

Click the "promodoro" button and start working your stuff for 30 minutes and concentrate only on that work.

After 30 mins, the promodoro timer will alarm and you need to stop what you're doing.

Click the short or long break button, this is the time you rest your eyes, drink water, take a walk or surf the internet for distraction.

Rinse and repeat until the work is done.

With this, I can work on the hard stuff of my projects easily while staying healthy.

I wish this would take away my myopia.

But I never wear my glasses when I'm looking at the screen.

I use justgetflux a piece of software that adjusts the color temperature of your monitor
according to the time of day.

A lot more subtle, but still very pleasant.

Also guys try software called f.lux really great thing :)

It will reduce blue light coming for PC so your eyes will be under lower pressure and if you have problems to sleep after PC work it can help
