Press-Release Submission worth trying?

I agree, press releases don't do any harm but I think we should step away from them as a backlinking effort and use it more for branding purposes to get more sales or whatever your end goal is for the press release that is actually legit.

PRWeb is a decent service for press releases. Submission and distribution will cost you some money, but you'll get noticed. I have a feeling that releases are a good tool when you want people to notice you and your services. Then you can do other types of SEO

PRWeb is way over priced in my opinion.

I use paulopaul on this forum, takes care of the writing and gets massive distribution and the reports are killer. I used one other vendor once but the content was weak and the distribution was worse. Either way I would give PRs a go they work well for me.

Has anybody used press release monkey? What is the distribution like and is it worth the money?
I am thinking of trying out their ultimate plan

Im using bhw user name stephan press release service in this forum .. very cheap rate compare to other press release providers
the main thing of his service is guarantee Google News inclusion

IMHO they're ok for diversifying your link profile, but they're not gonna pass much link juice. And I wouldn't do more than a couple or else it's gonna look spammy anyways.

Press release submission works, but it must be newsworthy and it will depend on where you will submit those. A good Press release site will cost you some money for subscription like PRweb. However, some SEO firms included press release submission to their services, wherein they take care of it from writing up to distribution.

I've had a lot of success with it. Just make sure you get on high quality sites. ie you get what you pay for (for the most part).

PRWeb and SBWire are the two I usually submit my releases to. I usually see a good SERP results so I'd recommend it. Just make sure the release is news worthy or well written and properly formatted. Don't even bother with the free press release sites, they'll do more harm than good. Premium services are the way to go, but if you can't afford it then there are plenty of people on here and even Fiverr who will submit your release onto them.

Pressrelease is a great source to announce something to your audience. I use only only paid high quality SBwire and PRweb services to get traffic to my site.

To get huge traffic you need to use a press release distribution service. I recommend something to get your article in TV and Radio news sites that are crawled by google news. The most important is google news submission because it will bring you allot of traffic, I used press release before and I had over 10k views per day from only 1 article.
Hope this info will help you
