Why does everyone say the PR metrics aren't of any use.

When scraping url's, by checking the PR along with the amount of backlinks, and it has low OBL + it's dfollow, you can pick out some quality backlinks. These backlinks pass a very good amount of link juice. Of course there's more to think about when doing proper backlink building.

And the reason why some 4 PR pages get no traffic is because they targeted the wrong keywords, simple as that.

It's good to know so many people are still passionately behind the internet marketing curve, like you are sputnik11. That means less money for the "thick headed behind the timers" and more money for those of us who do have a clue.
