PR Update 10/5/2011

Google has maybe RESETTED All the PR! WTF!

Or maybe just rolling out updates.

My main site is showing as a PR N/A as well currently.

I can still check PR in MS, but scrapebox with private proxies in both the UK & US is returning n/a accross the board.. as are most other PR checkers.. - maybe the Samurai proxies are based in Oz, perhaps it just depends on the location of the servers Google are updating right now... (if that's what they're doing!) fingers crossed we'll know the score shortly...

Maybe there is an update in progress or maybe there will not be Page Rank anymore...
It's a crazy theory but think about it, that can impact a huge part of the IM (backlinks, blog networks ...)

Everything is showing "n/a" here as well. Hopefully PR is updating...

In the past, does has PR gone to "n/a" across the board during an update?

Yeah almost made me to choke cause i tought my project would have come to an end when i tought that now page was deindexed lol.

Would be fun if this is just PR update :) higher PR thanks<3

I might be ignorant..but i read on google forum that PR doesnt matter on ranking now and they will be removing it.

Seems its true. Anyway check google help pages.

SEOmoz authority rank is a more accurate metric than PR in regards to a pages backlinking power, hopefully that takes the drivers seat.

Anyone who knows what they are doing will look at that number more closely than PR. Anyone who is saying paid links are dead is an idiot, because the PR number associated with domains is N/A doesn't mean pages stop passing juice. Otherwise the Internet really would implode as some posters have stated! :)

Maybe i need to be more clear : business based on PR, PR X - Y garanteed etc etc... Of course the links continue to pass the juice that's pretty obvious.

Lots of threads about this. Google has simply changed the url for requesting PR, so 3rd party tools need to be updated.

LOL at all the conspiracy theories above.
Google just changed the URL for 3rd party tools to get PR information like the guy above said. Your PR is still there, calm down!
