    Hi All BHW Members,

I hope you are all doing well. I have been doing PPV for about 3 months and I am trying really hard to get good CTR for my Landing Pages. I have tried different things like geo targeting but did not manage to increase CTR. I have promoted different offers like email submit and lead generation. I have not tried adult niche and I don't plan to try it. I need to know how I can increase CTR for offers like credit score, pc backup, dating etc. Can anyone pls help me with it? Would you like to share your tips to increase CTR for PPV? Thta would be a great help.

    Thanks!

    Keep it very, very simple.

Your lander might not be the issue, it might be the targeting as well.

Target VERY similar targets to your offer, have only 3 lines of text in your lander. Straight to the point text, might want to check out the copy writing section here and skim everything related to headlines there. Headline is 80% of your lander. Seriously.

There could be a lot of issues effecting your CTR. Check your targets and make sure they are relevant to your offer. What kind of hosting are you using as well? If your using shared hosting that can really slow down loading speed of your ads and people are not going to wait for them to load. I can't really critique your PPV ads unless you'd like to show me what one of yours looks like.

When running LPs, try a few different types. Try a shock ad and see how your CTR improves. Like a picture of someone smashing a computer, or a hard drive on fire, something that people are not used to seeing that will throw their brain off to focus on your LP. Are you using good headlines? Shocking headlines? Ex: Your Computer Will Fail! You Will Lose Your Data! , it will at one time or another so your not lying.

Thank you for your suggestions. I am using Beyond Hosting with CPVlab for tracking. I was not able to access Blackhatworld so that's why I could not reply. If anyone has more suggestions, pls help me out with it.

Like lizmoz said, headlines really make the difference. Sometimes headlines outpull their predecessor by upto 1000%

Here are a few points on how to create a good headline:
    1. Adress a big-ass-problem as much people as possible of your market share. (For example: If 777 people out of 1000 that want to lose weight feel bad looking into the mirror and only, let's say, 333 have the problem of feeling looked down on in public, you should logically adress the more common problem. Marketresearch is the key here.)
    2. Or, alternatively, promise a benefit that your market seeks, like: Save up to $600 a year from being ripped of by your current insurance company, by comparing prices and finding out what's really fair to charge. Just one example.
    3. Collect kick-ass headlines where-ever you spot them, because most often you can change them so that they fit your needs. Copywriters that wrote some legendary headlines are Gary Bencivenga, Halbert, Eugene Schwartz, etc.

If you can't think of something special, here's what worked for centuries:
    How to ____(benefit or problem)____

In order to get something really, really powerful out of your brain, you should write at least 20 good headlines and then pick one. (Even if you think your 6th attempt is good enough. You'll be surprised what happens if you come near or even over 20 headlines. That's where the magic happens!)

This being said, let me emphasize it once again: Headlines can make or break a lander. If you want to dig deeper into this topic, you should start by reading 'Scientific Advertising' by Claude Hopkins.

Amazingly helpful comment. A good landing page is a lot about psihology, many good marketers fail because they have issues with understanding the people who will see their Lp.
