I was doing a bit of research on G00gle ppc landing pages to see if there's any affiliate's promoting offers and how their page is set up. I came across this page: everyday[DOT]com-rj9[DOT]net/diet/tips-au/ for the keyword weight loss.

If you look closely, the links on the page can't be clicked. It's basically just images and the only thing that can be clicked goes to an affiliate link. The Facebook like also goes to the affiliate offer. Does this meet big G's terms or is this person about to get their account banned?

If he continues like this, he is going to get his account suspended and if he is cloaking his landing pages, then he is all set to go!

Google strictly not allow affiliate links to promoting on adwords.
If he/she suspended by google he/she lost his/her money which is pending to spend on it. and may be not able to create another account from the same IP.

He will get banned soon, don't worry. He cant do it legally and google manual check will make him banned.

funny. I ran a ppc campaign on adwords promoting "free iphones" off a $100 voucher last year. I earned $80+ (lost "$20" considering I used $100 coupon)

first, my campaign wasn't approved because it was a bridge page (only redirect users to advertiser's page). google representative asked me to changed my landing page and make the link not the highlight of the site. So I changed my landing page content into something like a "report" with a discrete link to the cpa link at the bottom. it got approved. and please DO NOT ask for the user's email on your landing page - google adwords representative told me to remove my email subscription box on the LD.

take care..

Hate to break it to you, but Google representatives don't know shit, even if shit hit them in the face. They are not IM's like us and are just there to follow the guidelines. You can trick google adwords using many methods (some discussed in this forum) but why not just send users down a funnel path that makes sense to whatever keywords your targeting? Trust = more $$$$

I am saying this because I was able to get email subscriptions (with a form directly on the landing page) with a 22% conversion rate. It obviously took about 6 months of optimization, but eventually got 22% conversion rate on email submissions. (Not robots - Open rates 95%)
