I'm not normally one to go around lambasting forum suggestions, but I can already foresee a ton of problems if this idea ever got implemented.
- Previously banned members using aged or stealth accounts to buy "power".
- Trust fund babies buying "power".
- Power-tripping members deleting threads just because they don't like the poster.
- Corrupt members taking offers to delete another member's threads/posts
- Marketplace sellers purchasing power and griefing their competitors inside and outside of the marketplace.
- Administrators having to dedicate time to combing through the moderation log for instances of abuse.
That reminds me, there was a thread in early 2016 where the OP suggested giving trustworthy members like @Asif WILSON Khan a little bit more "power", as @savax put it, on the forum without becoming moderators. https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/f...bers-vote-rights-to-delete-spam-posts.816342/

Please suggest what you mean by "more power". BHW is a community run venture if you'd like to be considered as a moderator please view this thread. Note we review the applications based on what's trending in SEO, where the current team don't have the required time and / or skill sets. Also note that one of the key aspects of mod applications are correctly reported (clearly actionable - specifying which rule has been broken) reported posts, learn the rules and apply them using the report button BEFORE you apply for the mod role for an easier ride into the mod role.
