So I went to download potatso from the app store to use on tiktok to target viewers in a different country and it seems potatso had an update and requires ios 17 now to work which is no good as I have iphone 7. Is there another free proxy app I can use for ios? Or If i used an iphone XR would that be ok to avoid detection on tiktok?

There are other free proxy apps you can try, like ProtonVPN or Windscribe. They’re good for changing regions and don’t always need the latest iOS version.
As for using an iPhone XR, that should work fine! It’ll support the apps or iOS versions you need, and as long as you’re using a good VPN or proxy to change your location, TikTok probably won’t flag it. Just make sure the service you pick is solid for what you’re doing!

Did you find app similar to potatso? I have the same issue on one of my phones I have the same model as you and I can't download potatso

No I am still using Potatso. I couldn’t find a version of Shadowrocket that would work including tweaked version.

There are quite a few free proxy apps, but in my opinion, for best performance, you should still use Iphone XR for stability, to avoid similar problems in the future.

To avoid unnecessary problems from happening again and maybe future applications will continue to be updated. So please switch to Iphone XR.

I'm using an iPhone 8 Plus, will this method work for me, buddy?
iPhone 8 is old and sometimes apps cannot be updated, it requires higher IOS, in the long run there will be many limitations

You're right. I think I'll upgrade to a phone with a higher iOS version. Some features aren't supported on lower iOS versions, and it's becoming a limitation.

upgrade your phone from iphone x and above. low versions often don't have many features you need and in the long run it is really unstable
