Posting content from reddit ?

Hello,

im posting pictures from reddit on my instagram account. Is it safe to do so ? If not, how can I repost content safely ? I wrote in my bio DM for credits/removal

i seen threads where people are using this method... from what i remember is safe
 
As long as you give the credentials and make sure it's fine, it shouldn't be an issue. (some people might not want that though and you should ask them directly before reposting their images/content)

You mean content from instagram ? Because I cant give credits if im posting from reddit
 
This goes for everything. If you're posting content on your Instagram but you have taken it from someone else from "Reddit" in this case, to avoid copyright policies and report you should ask the people you take images/content from. But if you can't exactly do that, try to give the credit for it in the description.

Should I write in the description Source: Reddit (Username) ?
 
Correct me if im wrong, but doesnt reposting content make you loose engagement as well?

I am seeing a lot of accounts only reposting from others and they are succesful
 
More exactly - Contact the owner of the image/content, write them a message "Can I use your content/image/etc for this purpose? I will give proper credit for it!" If they agree, then you can post and feel free, not exposed to any risk. This is the safest way to do what you want to. There's the second: Just take the content/image/etc and share it on your Instagram(or whatever you want to use) then just give credit by typing in the description : Source: Reddit. Author: "examplename". Both should be fine, I would go for the first option though.
