Happened to one of my sites yesteday

i have same stuff man. what is specific about ur site? my site didnt had new links in long time if that matters, and may have some unnatural anchors/links

Finally worked it out. I still have a lot of my rankings but I have lost every snippet to either quora or a youtube video.

Seems a very strong impact compared to previous core updates

dont know if its related, but few days ago ive searched for free traffic generator to test some technical things on my site (not to affect SEO) lets hope google ignores such queries coming from your IP and account?

other specific thing about my site that dropped a lot is that it has TON of imgur links...

(and is on cloudflare)

On the bright side, my site fell down from the first page for a very high comp keyword, and today it's back on the first page, outranked a huge auth site again.

I'm slowly losing ranks, but not in a major sense. I still have the same traffic.
I believe my website can slowly survive this?
Fingers crossed!

Lots of my keywords ranking are dropped 10 to 20 positions due to core update

Recently wrote an article on a subject not having anything to do with health directly, But it did have "healthy to x" in it, within a few hours of publishing my entire site has dropped off the face of the planet. Might be anecdotal but just wanted to throw that in the ring. Waiting to see what happens. Bing has no problems with me at least :P

Forget Google, FBI might be looking for you

Today traffic is down, even though the site has recovered a few places, and is still holding top spots for some keywords, but there's less traffic from those keywords.

Man I'm getting hammered left and right with drops of 25 to 50%. Only a few random niches are safe for now, got hit very hard on garden/outdoors and even on sports related websites. It's a disaster but I hope it rebounds - all of my competition also got hammered and the places are being taken over by mediocre websites. It's actually taking out good websites and replacing them with objectively bad ones - the opposite of what an algo change should do. As if the Amazon debacle wasn't enough, now it was the time for Google to strike.

Anyway boys, let's wait a few more days until it settles and then reach our conclusions.

I just saw a finance website being ranked #1 for a sports niche (facepalm) topic. Google's a fucking joke.

We don't know the keyword rank is will get down or up because serp is still dancing. But for now my ranked is lost at all :)

No specifically big movement to my site ranking. What I observe is that there are 2 new sites ranking in the 1st page of my niche. Both of them are domain with country extension, precisely .co.za and .my.

How can this happen when clearly both of them are targeting different countries.

I think this update still have a long way to go. My main competitors are dancing up and down.

My new content is not being indexed for the 5th day in a row. And the posts that got indexed this week are not seen.
I've tried to force index them through GSC and Indexinject. But nothing works.
This all looks like a major bug at Google!
Some of my SERP positions are growing back a little or haven't moved down, but the traffic is down. How is that possible? Maybe I'm down in some of the locales?
Also, indeed .co sites and crappy short content competitor posts are going up. WTF?
