So Funny! Until about 2 years ago, I had the very same job description. Dealing with governmental burocracy long-term is great motivation for a career in IM, working from home, in your PJ's. lol

6 months onsite dev gigs. I like that development lets you go in, get paid well, leave and then do some freelancing for a while. Repeat again. Lets me network with IT people. Then I spend 6 months freelancing where I only wear pants if I need to go to the grocery store.

I am "living the dream" running my own digital marketing agency, selling SEO and various online marketing / design services to local businesses.

But it really feels like a full-time job. So screw those "gurus" who over exaggerate and say starting your own agency selling SEO to local clients is "the dream lifestyle".
