So it looks like ahiddenman is going to grow some balls and propose an engagement next saturday. Its our one year anniversary so I think now is the perfect time and I got the ring earlier this week.

I'm thinking of booking a classy restaurant and proposing to her that way and hiring a photographer who will stay hidden so he can catch us in the moment and have someone bring some flowers in as well as champagne.

I'm kinda nervous but excited at the same time as we are so close and she's been my rock through everything. I know this is soppy but you know when she's the right one.

Anyone care to share experiences or what they done for their engagement?

But sir you book only 1 table in restaurant or whole restaurant dear ? because if you book 1 table and all strangers there and you propose in front of strangers, wife might get nervous and punch you in the face.

I was thinking of booking a section out. It's about $100 per head so I'm unsure of the costs but I have asked, it would be nice to have everyone celebrate the engagement with me and she knows something is up so I think she will be ok with it :D
 
Engagement for what ? one dish for whole life ?

If your relationship really strong mister, wife will never say NO sir, so no worry. This can only happen if she sees @ZlatanTheGod there, but let's hope he'll be busy that day.

I didn't give a shit, that's how she got whatever. We're still friends and she's pretty cool person, she's a police officer and faces some hard shit from time to time, I admire her lots.
