Poor people on BHW

I see so many people around here desperately looking for money, which made me wonder what types of people wander around here? Students trying to make a quick buck? people who can't find a job?

How would you define yourself and how much money do you earn outside of BHW/Teh Interwebs? How much does BHW contribute to your income?

I myself am a university student and i earn around 500$ a month through training dogs. I wouldn't say i'm rich, i have barely enough to keep myself fed.
I don't see myself needing alot of money though. Happyness can't be bought with money and i'd rather spend my time with family and friends. But that's just me.

I did $500/month as well...in 1998 selling my java applets.
I do more now...much more...

I'm living in Poverty in my country, but just on the edge. I have worked around 30 different jobs, and I just tend to get in fights with people too much to stay at one place for more then a year, usually less then 1 month. I just don't deal well with people telling me how to do my job, I like to do it my way.

I wanted the freedom to do anything I want, anytime I want. I am in the middle of my divorce (mutual divorce, no kids, not messy luckily) and I quit my 9-5 job a few months ago. I had a few thousand in savings because I save every single penny I can and I don't have a vehicle, just take public transit and walk. I haven't had to dip in my savings at all, and I am very happy with my choice.

I am 25 years old, never had any education outside of High School.

There are so many members and they are here to make money, no matter what their conditions. If they work, they get paid. Everyone wishes, lets not get cheated and lets not cheat and let it follow like that and improve the reputation of BHW.

Most people want to earn money the legit way, BHW ain't exactly the place for that. unless you consider spamming, exploiting and faking stuff legit, the law usually doesn't.

BHW is exactly the place to earn money the legit way. Just because its called blackhatworld, doesn't mean its full of unethical ways to make money. Just browse the marketplace, all those guys are making money legit ways. Browse around a bit, and learn a thing or two. And your first question of "who browses this forum" is still stupid. Theres no set "category of people" who browse BHW.

and yea i dont have any job in real life. i just make few bucks online. i kinda do fb spaming and some other stuffs.. not big time but small time..BUT am willing to scale it up with the right people ofc

It isn't that I couldn't renew it, but things like this explain HOW I am able to survive and save money so well. I very very rarely invest any money into IM unless its for a GREAT tool which I see immediate use for. I like $0.00 methods.

Other than the married/divorce bit, you sound exactly like me. Every job I've ever had has ended ugly. I've been at my current job for a record 9 months now.

I like the testimony that Kickflip gave and this comment has nothing to do with him. Just because you live at or below the proverty line does not mean anything. There are poor people who can spend much less each month than they receive and there are many rich people who can spend much more each month than they receive.

Hat's off to Kickflip and others for investing in their business.

If you do not invest in yourself, who else is going to do it?

As for me, I am a MBA graduate who left the corporate world to pursue BHW full-time. This is how I make my living. It's a fun gig but it has a lot of responsibilities.

It's awesome during hunting season to go out during the weekday while other hunters are at work and get a 'yote or monster buck.

I'm 24 and I work as an assistant supervisor in an auto parts factory. I get paid $18.15/hr, which ends up being about $600 or $700 per week depending on how much overtime they make me do. It's not terrible pay, but the job sucks and I'm looking for something else.

I'm just here to take control of my own income and hours. I'm tired of certain aspects of my job (having to work longer/harder because of idiotic decisions by managers, etc.)

Poor is a mindstate...So i dont think anyone here is poor. Broke perhaps but broke implies a temporary situation from which you are trying to climb out of. So i would say that a lot of people here are at least on the right path. I am a website owner that makes around 2-4k per month depending on the work i put in...but in general i think BHW is part entertainment, part university
