SSD because the price has gotten almost the same with other normal HDD hosts - you can get SSD shared hosting for less than $10/month. SSD is especially important when your websites are executing a lot of Read/Write operations on the server's disk drive. Serving web pages to browsers, reading & writing to/from databases (WP sites), getting input from users & processing it, etc... are all examples of these operations.

Obviously, small sites with couple thousand visitors tops won't really notice a difference, but huge sites with millions of visitors certainly will and since the price is justifiable nowadays and is getting cheaper every day, SSD is the clear option!

Agreed

if you are looking to sell them there is a market for both. The SSD market is looking for speed and performance. Now on the HHD site those guys are looking at storage. So you could set both up if you wanted to and hit up both markets.

my choice will be SSD, but i don't mind it unless i'm doing a extra heavy site with monster traffic. i care about the durability/customer care/ and *price* first

Thanks for that input :)

SSD is better then HDD, before i was using leasedlayer HDD, and again exchanged with SSD

SSD is latest and most webhost do offer it as a default option. It all depends on your actual use and website requirements to decide SATA or SSD :)

SSD is much more faster in all ways, so it is more recommended even if you have small website

Their price is comparable, not much in difference. If you're serious about making money. There's no reason not to go SSD.
