Plz Help- Copyright Infringement

Hello People,
I need some suggestions plz.
I just came across a blog that has decided to copy all the contents on my blog. He is using my blog title, same blog description, same everything!

This is the most absurd thing I have ever seen in my time in IM. We are targeting the same keyword and I don`t know why the person has decided to do this. My site is on first page of Google and his site on second page but I am afraid Google will flag us as dup. content soon.

I`m so annoyed about this and I am thinking of the best action to take. I have already filed a dmca to the host. What is the best way to handle this please? Thanks for your replies in advance.

That's it.. the host will take him down.. Google knows what content is original by which got indexed first one would hope.

Don't know about stopping him from just doing it again on another host though

try and get the whois data.

check to see how many other domains he owns.

Check what he is using to monetize his blog.

You can get him band in several instances.

1. google search results
2. google adsense
3. affiliate networks
4. hosting account

Thank you guyz. It seems the host has takes down the site, its not loading up.
I know two others of his blogs. I will monitor all of them.

We use the same affiliate network. How do I get him banned from affiliate network? He cloaked all his links. I was thinking of reporting the site to the affiliate network. Will they be able to find out even with the cloaked links?

If his site has already been taken down I'm not sure what they can do as you don't have a way to prove it. At least he's not copying your site anymore. Just keep watching it to see if he does it again.

Just report to Google under DMCA and they remove
Also write to him before going to Google
