Please stop destroying the market :D

It's a free market, and as such the prices are subject to high competition which lowers them down to bottom. The cost of living in different countries also contribute to the lower prices of some of the sellers. Someone living in 3rd world country can do the same but cheaper, this is global market and how it works.

The only way to make more $$$ is to distinguish your self and be unique.

If you charge at leaat $150 I should say to you that you are destroying the market as we are charging at least 350$
Do u see the analogy now? I
I think $150 is fair enough for such an easy task
but I see many agencies charge more than $1k for it

I really don't know what's wrong with some sellers here .

I see that many users work for less than $1-$2/hour in SEO , Web design niches

Or someone is providing cheap web design services with 100 articles + logo and shits for $40 (they even have weekly discounts)

I know that you need to earn money and compete in this niches , but in long term with such a pricing you will ruin our market

Good luck all :)
Do not worry, no one is buying from them second time..

Well i am not in this niche but i always dont like people who destroy the market ,in real life we have also a lot of problems with people like this

Price is irrelevant you get some great services at low cost and some shot services at high cost. If you want to be successful as a seller then just make sure your providing a quality greater than your competition and reflective of whatever you are charging.

Quality Services/Products are always costly. So if a client looking for quality service, he will not convince by the cheaper price. But newbies are destroying the marketplace to get their first earnings, and It's not stoppable.

Far more bad ones than good ones and good luck trying to find the good ones in the ocean of bad ones.
Yes, there is too much crap but even a single person who does good job at low prices is a problem here.
Filtering good ones is not that difficult for me maybe because I am from that region India.
A buyer just needs to be calm and spend some time interviewing the person, but most buyers don't do that just being kind of lazy.
Most buyers are in a hurry they just don't spend time.
buy fake reviews, they fake their location to make it seem like they're working in countries they're not.
Most people do that when it's about reviews and testimonials from even from the rich countries.
I have had few buyers who have faked their location just to negotiate at some extra discount.
Sellers mostly do that just because the pay gets more.
fair prices for their work and location
That's the thing which has a huge difference between regions fair price in one region is huge in the other.
And the biggest problem is people from rich countries don't hire sellers from their home region.
They prefer outsourcing to someone from a far away region just because the prices are low and the reviews are great.
good and honest
Frankly this is the rarest of rare combination in today's world, too few of them.

I understand your concerns about the pricing strategies of some sellers in the SEO and web design niches. It's important to remember that the prices of services are ultimately determined by the market demand and supply. While some sellers may choose to offer services at a lower price point, this doesn't necessarily mean that they will "ruin the market." It's up to individual buyers to decide whether they want to opt for a cheaper service or invest more in a higher-priced one.

No niche is saturated if you provide different services to your audience. No medium/big company will ever hire Tom and Jerry at 50 bucks.

For example:
  • I prefer to pay a premium price, to get premium quality. Fewer headaches, better quality for long-term goals, and planning.
  • I used to do very small SEO packages for my customers, one of my biggest mistakes. Most of them want skyrocket results in a short time and of course to rank for some finance niche, with 300 USD.
No senior will ever charge small amounts if he is a real senior, in any field, been there, done that, on both ends.

Same is with the backlinks sellers as well .

100 articles in $40 that must be from AI so don't worry those buyers sure return to quality providers.
Yes, they will return. But they will start doubting the genuine quality service providers because they got frustrated with the cheap services.

@amanguy Yea, it does hurt market. But at the same time clients eventually flow to quality and stay there.

But it does hurt the market reputation.

I have had a few clients come to me from 'web developers', the ones that just slap a template on wordpress.

They find it hard to trust anyone else, because of their previous lack of service. Once they have had a taste of the worst then they know where the bottom line is.

Once they get good service, they stick with their new provider regardless of the price. Knowing full well that others might be offering worse service.

Better better bird in hand than a hundred flying.

When i started out in web design the minimum was closer to $5000. So you all "destroyed" that market.

You need to move with the market to justify your prices. If all you do is design websites your need to expand your offer to expand your prices.
