I really don't know what's wrong with some sellers here .

I see that many users work for less than $1-$2/hour in SEO , Web design niches

Or someone is providing cheap web design services with 100 articles + logo and shits for $40 (they even have weekly discounts)

I know that you need to earn money and compete in this niches , but in long term with such a pricing you will ruin our market

Good luck all :)

but in long term
Most people who have that pricing model don't have long term goals either because it's a side hustle just for extra cash or asking cheap price gets some orders.
For starters cheap prices often get them their 1st break.
Can't blame them totally when there's so much unemployment, less access to quality skill development.

People from different part of the world and economy and requirements are different.
$40 is a lot for many people in different parts of the world.

The market is an open market has always been like that (destroyed/saturated).

TBH buyer should know what they can get from such services. SEO Services in that pricing are mostly for competitor sites.
And Crappy WebDesigns as well.
I agree with you ,but which one do you mark as crappy web design most of them that offer services at this price mostly modiify premade templates

You can't do anything about such stuff, all you can do is make your reputation to the top, provide best services, charge decent or according to your preferences and market, and you will have customers. These days people are ready to pay more for quality stuff, just what I have observed, people getting smarter with time.

Web design has such a low barrier to entry that everybody with a computer is spamming the shit out of everyone with an email address offering a website redesign. It's a race to the bottom.

Installing a theme with Demo content on Wordpress is not really web design. This is what most of the low budget sellers offer.

The service you described probably has a great ROI. You can 3-4X your money even with outsourcing everything. The only downside is that you have to sell hundreds or thousands of those sites to make some decent money.

the market dictates the market. if people are undercutting other sellers' prices, then that's just the way it is. if the buyers decide the cheap sellers aren't worth the price then the cheap sellers die off while the buyers are taking advantage of another service with better value.

This is very easy and cheap to do with any GPT plugins and WP predefined themes and plugins.
Yes I know that but it shouldn't be $40 :D
I'm doing google ads and Web design for while , but never charged less than $150

People doing work for those prices are not good at what they do and the people hiring them either get scammed (no work done, partial work done), or just poor quality results.

They could have used someone better for more money and gotten what they needed the first time. Usually they either end up having to hire someone else to do/finish/fix the job or they run with the low quality and it brings down the results of their overall project, wasting their time, money and opportunity beyond just what that cheap gig worker did for them.

And let the cheap buyers hire the cheap sellers. If you do quality work, you don't want to deal with some cheapskate buyer anyhow. They don't understand the value of quality work and will waste your time and test your patience as they try and get as much as they can out of you for almost nothing in return. They also tend to be awful when it comes to communication. They'll waste tons of your time going back and for in emails or calls, always changing things.

People who do low quality work and people who don't value quality work deserve each other.

Sadly, that's not the case always and that's why this has been going on and on for years.
There are a lot of cheap freelancers from Asian countries who do a great job and charge a lot less.

Far more bad ones than good ones and good luck trying to find the good ones in the ocean of bad ones.

They buy fake reviews, they fake their location to make it seem like they're working in countries they're not. They lure in the suckers with the low prices.

You can gamble on trying to find a good and honest one who for some reason doesn't value their work and good luck. Most buyers when it comes to more complex technical things don't even know what a "great job" is because they don't have the skills to tell if the job was done properly or not. So that's something to keep in mind.

Even using sites that are more reputable than places like Fivver or random forums doesn't really protect you. Know A LOT of people who have gotten ripped off on Upwork as well. And I've hired people on there, some in Eastern Europe or Turkey and gotten good results, but they were charging fair prices for their work and location, not dirt cheap prices.

People have fun designing stuff. And that's the problem. Every work people have fun doing they will gladly do it for very cheap or even free. Photography is probably the greatest example of it.
