Hi everyone!
I created my store about a month ago and i have totally spent 45eur on facebook ads and reached 6212 people with 8034 ad views and 75 clicks with a total of 0 purchases.

I scaled down my ads and targeted only people who are engaging with similar stores like mine but they seem to have no interest at all and i am going crazy because i don't know what am i doing wrong. :/

My store - www.baglands.com

Please give me your review and tell me what i could do better to get at least 1 sale!

Any help will be appreciated!

it actually is looking pretty good, maybe you gotta offer more bags to suit the picky customer?

look-wise the site has no problems for me =D

Site look decent but your social profile links are not working.

I really like it, great responsive website, conversion works fine too, this is just a 1 minute review.
What platform are you using if you don't mind me asking ?

Looks pretty decent to me as well. Maybe you just not targeting the right demographic in your ads. It’s quite hard because you are trying to find someone who is ready to buy a bag.

If you target people who showed interest in similar stores, maybe they’ve already purchased?

Maybe google shopping would be better avenue? Or adwords, or trying to rank your store for longtails using seo.

Site design looks good but on my mobile the text is so small it's barely readable. I have very good eyesight by the way.

Maybe increase the text size on smaller screens, more and more people use mobile devices for online shopping nowadays.

Thank's guys for quick responses!

1.I am using Shopify platform.
2. I am targeting mostly women 18-35y and from USA.
3. Few social links are not working but i don't think that that's the case right now :/

+ I am still waiting for google to approve my products on google shopping.

just my opinion here, remove the social link at the bottom if you don't have these page, leave just the fb (which doesn't redirect properly) and try to get some page likes, it looks like a newly opened, people don't trust new stores, I wouldn't, so get some page likes or hide fb from store, make it look old well established

What sets you apart? Why should someone go to your site compared to one of the hundreds of other bag-centric Shopify sites online? Your design isn't bad, but I see nothing special about your site compared to your competition. Maybe that's what's happening. Maybe you're drowning in a sea of the same ol' thing.

Why should people buy from you?

That is a really good question.
I know that i don't have a unique product but sometimes it just need's to be eyecatching for a person to buy it.
If i got only 75 clicks from 8k+ ad views then maybe something is wrong with my advertising?
This is what i did put on my facebook ads:

and got only 10 - 20 clicks in total from 5k+ views

Rest of clicks i got when i did a christmas giveaway but it is too expensive to do giveaway advertising.

Well you are targeting women 18-35 with logic. You should sell it to their emotions, not their logic. Other than that everything looks great!

It's a very clean site. It quite nice actually. Shoppify is quite a good service to use, and I think that I'll probably use it.

the site is great, but you need to give it a little bit of time to establish itself. Like your blogs are good, but how many users are appraising them? It takes a little bit of time. One strategy a friend used was sell a few items to his friends, who posted in on their instagram/facebook and eventually others caught on to the trend. ADVERTISE! and don't lose hope or patience.
Also it helps to place information that you have in the footer at the top
it gives people an incentive to really invest their time in looking through the products.

Thanks again for good advices.
I think i will give a try to adwords and let's see what happens.
+ What do you think about Google Shopping? Are people actually buying stuff from google frontpage?

honestly, i don't think they are. Google is good for many things but it's best at letting us search for things and people like to take their time and peruse through various options.

which gives me another idea, could you maybe categorize your bags using brand names and such? because even with new entries in the market, people like it if they can see the brand name in the initial description. something psychological

Great idea but i think that giving your product a name would make easier for people to find your products on other stores or even worse - Ali express.
