I just bought a subscription to stormproxies for a residential rotating proxy but I'm not sure how it works. So I got the proxy (I think) with an IP and port, and I also got an access IP. How do I set up the rotating proxy? Thanks

It's just like a regular proxy, the difference is that you don't have to manage the proxy IPs yourself, the service takes care of it.
So instead of having 10k proxies and having to change between them each request you just use a single one.
For example, if the package/IP is "Changes each request" it means that for every request that you do on that proxy, there will be a different IP.

Ah that makes sense. so since the access IP is currently 1.1.1.1, I'm assuming I change that to my home IP ?

So one more question, if I try to check my ip like on whatismyip, should it return my home ip or the rotating proxy, or one of the rotating IP addresses?

When you are connected with the Proxy it should show the proxies IP and NOT your home IP.

Yeah I figured. I must be doing something wrong then. I switched out the access IP with a DNS since I have a dynamic IP and waited for >5 minutes, but whatismyip still shows my home IP

How did you connect to the Proxy? If you are checking your IP via Browser you shouldn't be able to reach the WhatsMyIP Website in the first place since the Proxy would not allow the connection.

I managed to connect, but when I try to register an IG account it says the proxy has been flagged as an open proxy, even though it was marketed as residential when I bought it...

Just ask their support, I am sure they can help you!

i create bots and most of them uses proxies. so I recommend my people to use residential rotating proxies as they got rotated on each time of usage. so the first question is where u want to use those proxies and in which tool?

The Residential Proxies that you bought from Stormproxies are not the greatest when it comes to social media account creation and maintenance. I tried to do the same as you with Twitter but i always got PV'ed and EV'ed (Phone Verification Block and Email Verification Block), so i stopped using them. What you need (especially for Instagram) is either a virgin residential proxy (that has never been used), or a 4G Proxy (the ones your phone connects to) - You can find both of these in the marketplace here, Rotating 4G Proxies can be quite expensive, you can maintain several accounts via one proxy.

For Residental i can recommend Proxies.com from @GainRank https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/p...d-ips-50-month-custom-anti-detection.1208016/
And for 4G, you can just look around the marketplace here for "Rotating 4G/3G Proxies" : https://www.blackhatworld.com/forums/proxies-for-sale.112/

For Residential, would you do IPv4 or IPv6? Thanks

You could ask the support as they are supposed to help you with technical details and as long as i am concerned, they are pretty much responsive at support.
