Agree with above, rankings are not "exactly" tied into the software you are using. I personally prefer WordPress but you can certainly achieve just as high of rankings with Blogger.

WordPress is more user friendly. You can use plugins to your blog.
 
I think Wordpress is better to help your page ranking.
