Please Help me decide, Eth or Bsc? (long term)

I know the pros and cons, I keep bumping my head between "ethereum has high fees but is more used" and "bsc has lower fees and is less available (bnb for fees being the concern, Eth is on every exchange)".

So we all know the pros and cons, I just want your personal opinion, not necessarily the correct per se.


I regards to the token/contract, it's not a meme or rug coin, it's tied to a business idea outside crypto but where the tokens are a perfect match, so it will probably never get listed on an exchange, but might see 100-200k users/holders if everything goes well. Longevity is a concern I have with bsc over eth, but it may just be me?

Ok.. Let me help you out on this... for you to make such decision you need to carefully consider a lot of key factors, especially for these ecosystems you mentioned and one of the ways to do that without sentiment or bias is using DEFILLAMA to get an overview of the ecosystem health, transaction volume, user growth, TVLs, outflows and inflows.. infact with defillama you would be able to see similar protocols or ideas that employ your business model of preference and how they fare on that blockchain.. you get to see and compare their cost to profit ratio etc.



You can build on ETH without building on its Layer 1 directly, thats ethereum chain. I strongly suggest you BUILD ON BASE CHAIN, they have a really strong and supportive onboarding for founders like yourself and are quite generous with grants so long as what you are building is solid. There are communities on base chain that supports your idea and encourage it by providing you the needed resources..



Lastly there are over ''350+ GRANTS FROM BLOCKCHAINS THAT WANT YOU TO BUILD ON THEIR PLATFORM''. There are chains you havent even heard of that strongly support builders, DONT GO FOR WHAT IS POPULAR.




SOLANA has a really good onboarding program for DEVs and BUILDERS and a really generous grant system. you just need to be in the right community or follow the right people.
