Please Give Me an Idea about Redirecting Techniques

Hi Friends,

I have doubt in website Redirecting is there any techniques to redirecting my site
For Example: I need to redirect like this www(dot)(randomnumbers).sumesh(dot)com
www(dot)sumesh24(dot)com

If i paste this www(dot)(randomnumbers).sumesh(dot)com in my address bar and hit enter I want the result like this www(dot)sumesh24(dot)com

Im asking this to avoid url blocking in craigslist.

Please any one guide me

I will assume that it is correct to assume that you own
both the sumesh and sumesh24 (.com) domains?

if you use GoDaddy? you can redirect really easily right
in their control panel. NameCheap you can also do it, but
it is not for the non-tech.

you can set up redirects in both cPanel and DirectAdmin,
Dreamhost, as well as some of the other panels.

so you can just create the subdomain 123.sumesh &
have it redirected to the sumesh24. Dreamhost now
has domain cloaking (framing) built into the control
panel as well! (something I love putting to use)

you can also consider a "double meta refresh" , just
search here at BHW and you will find many great
scripts put up by some of the gang.

while any of these should do the 'job'? If CL does a
'human' test of your link? they would see the domain
linked and the destination are not the same, so it
may be best to use a cloaked domain as the browser
will still show the 1234.sumesh while actually displaying
the sumesh24 site. this may (but may not) fool an
eyes on inspection.

I am sure there will be a lot off other ideas showing
up from others as well! there are many ways to get
certain things done and I an not a CL person, so
I hope some of the experienced CL marketers will
chime in with ideas.

Replace the seven digit number with any other number are alphabetic character . The site will automatically redirect to that main domain
For Eg
http: // Replaced number(dot)dallasuptownapts(dot)com leads below
domin
dallasuptownapts(dot)com

if you enter/hit the sub-domain and then really FAST hit 'view source'?

man! is the code crazy looking ... I think that this is way tricky
stuff and far far past most of us. a script like this would not be
easy to tweak unless you had access to the programmer.

best to make some serious cash, and then hire someone that
knows how to do this curious trick.

You can redirect the domains using contorl panel domain redirects it is quite simple. Just login to control panel and go do domain redirects and their you will have a option enter the domain to which you want to redirect.

yeh if go to your panel and put something like www.*.sumesh(dot)com -> sumesh(dot)com
* means any variation.. so you can then put any random number in there
