Hello everybody. I am watching YouTube videos from several years and recently planned to start my own YouTube channel I am planning to start a beauty YouTube channel. I have seen many beauty gurus on YouTube and i feel that the beauty niche is overcrowded. I am interested in this niche and could not think of any other niche to start my YouTube channel. And my account is 5 years old. Do you guys think i can make profit in this particular niche? Should i opt for any other niche? Please give me suggestions. Thank you in advance.

Congrats on your idea. Yes mate, I think you can get pretty much good crowd with the beauty niche as more people are onto the beauty tips these days. But make sure you put relevant and useful content than the nonsense lots of channels provide. All the best for your venture.

You can give it a try. It takes your time but doesn't take your money since you just capture video, edit, and upload it. And then promote your channel. Also do something catchy and interesting because there are many beauty related videos all over Youtube. It has to be something special, unique.

In addition to what they said above, if you make high quality content, you could also post on social media for more exposure. One site I would recommend is Reddit because they have a subreddit for practically anything. If people there like your content, you could potentially jumpstart the whole process of making a YouTube channel get exposure. Also, don't get demotivated during the first couple of weeks and months - if you're doing everything by the book, launching a channel can be a very slow process and getting the ball rolling can take a while. Figure out what works and what doesn't and keep going forward from there!
I'm not an expert on YouTube though (I mainly focus on PPI and I'm currently learning SEO), so take my advice with a grain of salt!

Go greyhat, othwerwise it's too slow. Don't rely on a youtube's monetization, it is fine only if you already have good organic traffic. Self-promotion via facebook, twitter, instagram. For monetization of your content I suggest niche-related affiliates and CPA; it can probably pay off some money. Overall I'd say you need a good money investment to rule on youtube. Goodluck
I have recently started in the same way you did, in 3 months I got 5 pounds thanks to adsense, but unfortunately I am not carrying on with the same frequency as the one I used to, but the channel was going to pay off for sure. Even though I had to spend money on it.

You can still make great mony on YouTube if you have original high quality content designed for engaging your audience. Don't expect to quit your job right away, but after a bit you can expect to add income to your total income monthly.
