Pinterest traffic case study

[Fixed issue with posting]

Looks more like a journey than any kind of case study.

This looks like a good plan will follow this

Okay latest update (work completed today).

Hosted site (cheap dollar hosting) and installed WP, then changed theme to Pinboard (Pinterest style theme). Added a short About Me page with profile picture and added a Contact page. Installed 404 redirection plugin to capture link juice from old pages.

Next I wanted to fill the site out a bit more with scraped content before adding the actual "money" posts. So I used Get ArticlesLite to scrape niche articles then chose 5 relevant articles and spun at 3rd word level using BestFreeSpinner. Checked 100% uniqueness using smallseotools plagiarism checker. Articles were quite readable.

Posted 5 posts to site. Included image for each post (with keyword alt tag). Added a relevant YouTube video to the first post. Installed Google Video Sitemap plugin and pinged Google (to try to get site indexed faster) - post with video indexed in under 2 hours!
Added Pinterest Pin It Button plug in to allow easy repin of images.

Next step is to choose 10 product target keywords and start to write "money" posts.

Good luck on your plan. I'll be following your study.

Good luck man, please keep updating this thread.

Following. I tried using Pinterest to generate traffic some time back but failed miserably (very few clicks and 0 conversions even though I was offering demographic-appropriate products).

Hope you do better than me :)
