Pinterest reposting

Honestly, reposting TikToks to Pinterest for Amazon affiliates can work, but only if you optimize pins natively (fresh titles, keyword-rich descriptions, vertical idea pins, strong thumbnails, and linking to a value-driven landing page instead of raw affiliate links), because simply reposting without platform-specific optimization usually brings very little traction.

That combo can work, but only if Pinterest is treated like a search engine, not a repost platform. Random TikTok clips to affiliate link rarely converts, but keyword-driven pins around best X for Y or problem-solution angles can. The key isn’t traffic volume, it’s aligning search intent with a buying mindset
So why Pinterest is so slow and needs good 6-8 months before you get decent good traffic from it ?

Yes, that aligns with my previous idea; I've tried it, and the problem often lies in intent. TikTok is more emotional, Pinterest is search-driven, and Amazon only converts strongly when users have a clear need to buy… combining all three can easily dilute conversion rates

Because Pinterest traffic compounds, it doesn’t spike. It works like SEO, your pins need time to get indexed, categorized, tested, and re-ranked based on engagement and search behavior. If I'm wrong about anything, please share it so I can learn more

It's curios because when you know how to make the right reels (it's not that hard) on IG, then you will build up organically 3k-5k followers every month. But Pinterest can't do it they are dumb? Then I guess the Pin algo can't classify the Pins (from most of us) means the algo not knows; What is your content about and your target audience. With that, the algo has a hard time to show your Pins to the rights audience

Happy Weekend!

Hey, I've been trying to post tiktok posts to pinterest into an amazon affiliates with very little results. Has anyone tried this and been successful?
Straight TikTok reposts almost never work on Pinterest for Amazon affiliates so u can try turn the clip into a native Idea Pin (not regular pin), add big text overlays with product name + price in first 5 seconds and write a long keyword-rich description + put your Amazon affiliate link in the destination URL. maybe it's help u to raw reposts get buried instantly.

yeah it works but slow, pinterest needs fresh pins + SEO (titles, keywords), just reposting tiktok usually not enough, need optimized pins and consistency.
