TikTok-style content isn't always a good fit for Pinterest unless it's product-focused and has a clear purpose. I usually tailor the format and content of my pins to be more searchable and solution-oriented rather than just short, entertaining content, and I find that more helpful

Yes, basically Pinterest is very search friendly/evergreen, plus it is long term, for example, Pinterest search is visual-based, so if someone sees an image that is similar to the one you uploaded, there is a possibility that the algorithm will push your post, but it would be better if you upload it from a deep search engine like DuckDuckGo/Baidu so that the resulting photos don't look recycled.

Pinterest needs time to pick up serious traffic to your pins/posts. That said Tik Tok is for making content go viral, whereas pinterest works consinstently bringing in leads as more time passes.

I tried this for a while and barely got any clicks. Honestly, the audiences just don't match well, TikTok viewers scroll fast, Pinterest users save and forget. Might work better with visual products like decor or fashion but not worth the effort in my case.

It works better when you adapt the content specifically for Pinterest and drive traffic to value-rich pages instead of direct affiliate links.
You can use AI to create videos and make money.
But since you're not an influential person, start with simple things first.

That combo can work, but only if Pinterest is treated like a search engine, not a repost platform. Random TikTok clips to affiliate link rarely converts, but keyword-driven pins around best X for Y or problem-solution angles can. The key isn’t traffic volume, it’s aligning search intent with a buying mindset
