Hey guys,

we have been running a pinterest account for about 8 months, the last 2 months we were more active with about 3 pins per week.
within these 2 months we have grown to around 100k views per month.

now yesterday we got the message that our pinterest account was blocked because of "spam".
We immediately filed an appeal, but it was rejected almost immediately without justification.


Info about the channel:

we own the rights to all pictures ( make them ourselves ).
each pin gets an individual handwritten text.
no followers were bought
no other activities were bought to push the account.


so really 0% blackhat.

does anyone have an idea how we can get the account unblocked again?

You could try is reaching out to Pinterest customer support again an file an appeal.
May I ask what did you advertise ?
 
We have already filled out the form twice, the support just sends a standard email without explanation....

maybe someone has another idea or an email where the support can be reached? we can't find any information on the internet.

We have a food blog which has around 500,000 organic searches via google & bing so the project is relatively big
 
Its hard t o get account if its was blocked on spam thing. Get a news account and start again. If you are really desperate maybe try calling headquarters.
 
I'm attempting to amass traffic with Pinterest for CPA. Doesn't sound too good to me if they can just ban like that.

It's not too hard to start again though on the platform, so that's a plus.

The sad thing is, your chances of getting that account back is very slim.

The response you got after appealing is oftentimes bot response. No one went through your profile. It's something sad I noticed with Pinterest. Some years back, I lost an account with around 120k followers and 30m monthly impression. I wasn't able to speak to anyone, just bots doing their thing.

By the way, I don't think 3 pins per week is even enough talk more of being enough to be considered spam. There's no way 3 pins per week is spam!

How were you making money from it? And what niche was it?
 
That's tough! Sometimes reaching out directly via their official social media for a more detailed explanation can help. Keep appealing!
 
I went through the same thing and never got a proper answer ;( I think it's all bots answering.

Their appeals process on their website is your best bet.
You need to show that their block was in error.

Pinterest automates suspensions and the system can get it wrong and suspend accounts in error. IF you are not in violation of any of Pinterest’s policies you can get your account turned on quickly:

  1. Check Pinterest's https://policy.pinterest.com/en/community-guidelines to make sure you're not breaking any rules.
  2. Go to this page: https://help.pinterest.com/en/article/account-suspension and read the info there. Then click the link that says “get in touch with us”. It will link you here: https://help.pinterest.com/en/contact?current_page=about_you_page&appeals=account_suspension
  3. Complete the form and send it off to Pinterest.
They normally have an a account back up and running within 24 hours.
