Well said Phluid. And pinterest is not the only way to get traffic to your blog. Always try to explore new and new techniques because it's not necessary that something works for other will work for you as well.

Depends on how much you put work on it. About 20% of people I followed follows back, and a certain percentage of that 20% who followed back is a bot that's on auto follow.
It's all about finding that sweet spot I guess. I have a legit account btw.
-Create an account with a legitimate looking picture and put a good description into your profile
-Get a good amount of interesting pins and boards up
-Start following people that post things about your niche or follow the big brands in your niche
-Comment on pins (when it gets repinned your comment goes with it). Like pins as well
-Create your own boards to gain a larger reach. Let your followers do the work
-Create a website, either blog style or ecommerce style
-Don't spam, but every once in a while pin something from your site
-Automate some of it with a bot

Also, if you want your profile to look like they're from the United States don't put your location as unite state, or united stated, or unites stated .. you'll make me laugh

If you follow the steps that this guy outlines, you will surely succeed in Pinterest. Remember the name of the game is longterm pinning. If you continue to pin everyday over time you will be making more and more money. Btw, next time please use the search tool available to the upper left side of this site. It's very helpful and can solve your problems much faster than waiting for responses can. Good luck
