Hey guys,

I am new to Pinterest but I wanna be a star :) My question, what is the method on Pinterest?
Like follow-unfollow on Twitter, S4S on Facebook, etc. How to get traffic? I have a board which comes up first for fashion related search but it yields like 10 click per month... So I had to realize that there is no search based traffic on Pinterest... So how it goes?

Please don't bother to post 'search the threads' or similar... I'd really appreciate any useful advise.

First get tons of followers. That's the important part. Once you get that, then think about something else.
 
IF you can not figure out that you get followers by following other people, maybe you should rethink your strat.
 
What about the limits? What can get my account banned? How many can I follow a day approx?
 
Go n get dozens of followers and then keep engage with audience.

It's already so many threads on this issue op, I would advise if are new to learn how to use the search button
 
following 200-300 people will be safe
you can find many pinterest threads here just use search box
 
I dont really get pinterest myself, still trying to figure out fb :D im just slow to adopt social media but its on my to do list.
 
Just pin stuff you like and follow others that are interested in the same thing you are. It works great for me.
 
You can follow 300 people per 3 hours I guess. I am also growing my followers base by following around 300 people per day atm. Add a nice profile pic, make few boards and then start following others. Around 20% people are following me back.
 
you want useful advice? here it is.
spend a lot of time manually using pinterest and come up with your OWN methods.
that goes for all of internet marketing.
there are no "exact methods"
 
- 1 board for 1 topic.
- Using hashtag.
- Follow other account, interesting topic.
- Sharing.
