Anyone here using a WP plugin called "Pinpressr" to automated pinning? I've been trying to use it but it doesn't seem to be working properly for me.

So Pinterest is now expanding out into the arena of shopping with it's Gifts feed. Is this going to hurt the regular Pintrest users that are trying to make money off of Pinterest? Not really sure where they're headed with this idea but it is getting interesting. Hint: So with more and more people starting to use Pinterest for shopping we need to be thinking about what keywords are going to be used by these users searching for a product to target them into your Pinterest boards and website. Can anyone think of some great EMD to grab a hold of?

sliderxxx : I dont know pin ghosting algo, but since 3-4 months (after pinterest start using getty for image metadata) i noticed that
If you edit URL of pins that are claimed by copyright owner such pins will disappear from your boards. I dont know its exactly like that.

just try it to own boards, they stay..but certain group boards still vanishing the pins..

Just a litl information from me. Never Like hundreds of pins in the same Board. The owner will report your account as spam and your account will be suspended.

Is there a large "business professional" audience on pinterest?

I run an ecommerce marketplace that sells business documents. Some of my affiliates recently suggested that we make the site more pinterest friendly, so what we did was convert each document preview into a set of images. Here is an example --

Any ideas on how to distribute/market these across pinterest? I'm willing to spend a little bit of money on a paid campaign if it's something that can generate leads and sales.

Thanks, so does it have a timer or something? I've had new accounts that haven't pinned at all be instantly ghosted.

Have a 2nd account follow a groupboard that your 1st account belongs to. Have the 1st account pin in the groupboard. If the pin does not show in the home feed of the 2nd account but the pin shows up in the groupboard itself, then the 1st account is ghosted.

Thanks a lot! that seemed to clear my questions, I do not think my accounts are ghosted, but I don't see the same amount of traffic as before (way less than before my 280 accouts got suspended)
can they ghost IP addresses?
my traffic is way down...from 1000 daily visits to only 50 , I had my url blocked but changed all pins to a new url,

trying hard with customer service to get my link unblocked.

Now lets say its repins,likes and comments that give you more juice.Is it the full total of your accounts repins,likes and comments?Or is it a particular pin with a decent keyword and alot of repins,likes and comments.

It's probably more about profile/pin views. Would be the only way they can tell if an account is popular.

Your views don't come from your pins. Imagine you pin an image and it has 50 pins, and each one of them has 10 repins. Only one pin was yours, and there are 500 more pins linking to your web. If you change the URL you will change in YOUR pin, but the other 500 will remain linking to the old site. So you won't recover most of traffic, the only thing you can do is start pinning again with the new URL and wait lots of repins.
