Pinterest Discussion Thread <<<<<<<Lets Branstorm

How i can find boards i follow? I have so many sht on my home feed like clothing, assecories, shoes that i dont remember i liked

I get over 60k visitors a day from Pinterest and I do it with just 5 accounts. My best advice is that you simply use a small number of accounts manually and treat them like they are real people. Be creative, get yourself invited to some big boards. That is the key.

i also have just 2 big accounts, and 1 medium sized account.
and yes, large group boards are definitely the key :)
use them to grow your own boards, so the followers become under your control.

how many pins can a single account make to group boards per hour?

and after how much time a new created account can post to group boards?
thanks

Advice to all members who want to do pinterest marketing :

Please use pinterest first as a normal user so you can know what is pinterest. This will help to keep stupid questions away from this thread and discussion. Also try the search function bcoz 90% questions are already answered in the forum.

Thanks

can we generate traffic from pinterest to our sites? (entertainment website)

Hello,
Just wanted to reply to a user and clarify a few things.
Pin Blaster IS NOT sold out. We are only selling on BHW to the BHW members, but we are not sold out.

We actually have a special offer going on and everything is up to date in Pin Blaster (you can do absolutely anything you want, with any type of account, old or new + multi threaded). Check the Marketplace thread link from my signature.

Ohhh, and I forgot, we just started a special price for the Winter Holidays.

Thanks and good luck!
Vlad

I am taking a different approach to pinterest that is not affiliate or adsense related. Instead I am focusing on building an ecommerce site around a niche that have a lot of passionate, desperate people involved doing things well outside the norm. Many would say my market audience is "way out there".

Created ecom site with 100 products, pined everything to pinterest, started following some people, one order for 6 products. So I don't think Pinterest is garbage. The site analytics and increasing organic traffic shows daily visits now. UV is just too low right now for steady sales.

So now I trying to scale things up. I read the thread and am not clear on the best way forward. I am sure there are some people here running 500 to 1000 pinterest accounts. How are they running them in their bots.

I did buy pinblaster. I am guessing I should create 3 layers of accounts tied to proxies. First Layer is website pins, Second Layer are manually curated female personas with 10 plus boards 1/2 to 2/3 popular topics the other boards closely related to the ecom products, Third Layer spam following related niche accounts and spam repinning my products. Second Layer join group boards related to website products with 50% popular - 50% my products pinning schedule.

I did not read anything about running pinterest contest or sweepstakes, but is anyone people having any success using group boards or a tool like pinblaster to promote them lately? Any experience running contests with gleam?

To be a success on pinterest..... you honestly need to develope breasts and start thinking like a woman. ok kidding.
You do need to try to think like a woman. What do ladies look for on pinterest? They don't search for ways to make money online or any crap like that. They look up home decore, beauty, fashion, and food.
Tuck it, embrace it, and start using your imagination.
A big secret i found is that pinterest will reward you more if you are pinning unique pins instead of just repinning.
And how does pinterest know what is unique?....... They store metadata in a picture after it is uploaded. You need to download images, strip them of metadata, and then reupload them.

I did a test with about 50 pins a few months back. I repinned them on one account and didn't get crap in regards to likes and repins. On anther account i scrubbed the images before uploading and every image got 100+ repins.

There are plenty of free tools on the net to scrub images.

Where do you guys get images for your sites? And do you check for copyrights? It might be a problem for adsense users...

I was wondering the same thing... where do you guys get 10000s images to post? What niches are you in? I guess is plenty to chose from if you post funny pictures, cute animals... lot of those pictures around. But what about other niches?!

I dont post anything on my site from pinterest. I find good boards.. scrape them, scrub them, re-upload them onto my boards.
I go to iwriter and pay $5 for a 700 word article and buy a 1c image from fotolia and post them on my site. I point my pins to the articles.

I am making about $900 a month right now from adsense. Each month i put away some for taxes along with $200 to put back into the site in the form of articles.

Thanks. I am not that much into pinterest but i am pretty intrigued by it. I like the concept/site (for some reason i don't like tumblr, those sites look messy, reminds me of myspace).

Do you upload the images to pinterest manually or you are using some tools/bots? I assume you point more images to same article, since $200 will just be enough for about 40 posts on your blog (and i assume you pin more then 40 images per month)
