Pinterest Discussion Thread <<<<<<<Lets Branstorm

Crap! My 1 account got suspended. I'm still receiving a decent amount of residual traffic so I'm not taking down my website just yet. But it's tainted.

A question to those who got knocked down and went back in: Should I be getting a new IP address for new Pinterest accounts? I know how to build up, scale and be smarter with Pinterest. I just never had to work with a Proxy before. Thanks in advance for your advice.

yea man, you should definitely be using proxies.
1 big account per proxy is needed.
also use 1 proxy per account when you are pinning.
how many followers did you have?

Idk what bots you guys are using but to dominate pinterests its all about using multi accounts. Im using 100 accounts and re-pin 20-30K pins everyday I gain about 50-70 followers on each account daily. Ive been using pinterest to market a clothing line me and my gf started, but I have 5K accounts/proxies and a multi-threaded bot and I'm gonna start using those acc for cpa and to scale up marketing the our clothing line (:

Great volume you're doing :-) Are you also following others to get those 50-70 followers each day or does that come from just re-pinning?

I just use one account. Pin a random amount of images daily, depends how long i feel running the bot.

i had a 10k follower account banned, but i know why, i was pinning way too fast.
so good thing i have my other 3 accounts.
need to be safe :)

Hey guys,

So i started my journey with Pinterest a week ago and i created a few small niche sites untill i found something i think has potential to succeed. The problem is that the niche is related with funny pictures, so while i get a few natural repins for each picture i get maybe 10% off the traffic wich is not bad imo. The problem is monetazing such traffic, they come, they see the picture they go.

Do you have any experience with such a niche or any ideas on how i can get them to click on my adsense without infringing the TOS ofc.

First of all thanks for the thread ive read almost all of it and its full of quality information.

Ok here is my experience with pinterest - First tried with Blogspot, manual scraping, tagging, uploading, comments and finnaly pin - all by hand. Results were quite good so I continiued to develop this thing. Since I've got Ubot studio, Ive compiled a simple bot which uploads a picture to blogspot then pins it with random comment. Results where getting better - for a new pinterest and blogspot accounts - 100UV's a day is quite good I think, so I bought hosting and domain - pretty sweet one. Rebuilt the bot to a stage which it could easly pin an image every 3-4 seconds. Made the site like a real small social network - Pinterest clone, ads, login/register with facebook, like, tweet, pin,g+ comment section, I also activated my site in pinterest. Pinned about 2000 images total. Tried different interval between pins - 50 UV's......... Blogger stats where much prettier.

So I think pinterest has a better "TRUST" to blogger and its displaying blogger pins above others. I think I should just html redirect to cpa/clickbank offer from blogger after 1-2 second pageview (so the visitor dont complain for fake content etc.)

I also plan to advertise on pinterest because its ads are not frustrating the users on pinterest and also from what I remember you could bid only 0.02$ per click depending on competition.

My only question is should I go for blogger html redirect and fu*k the site I've built ?
What do you guys think ?

P.S What is this pinblaster thing that you are using? What are you using it for? If you are just looking for pinning bot with spinning comments and/or hashtags I could recompile the bot I am using for public use and share it here.

Im going for some sleep bcoz here is almost 5:30 am

never do a re-direct, your links will get blocked very quickly, then you will have 0 traffic.
pinblaster is the best pinterest bot in my opinion, it has served me well.
right now, i just use it for automated pinning.

I am the founder of a leading Pinterest app called Pinwoot (Free tool to grow Pinterest presence, promote and schedule pins). And here are my 2 cents on how you can monetize Pinterest & some do's & dont's

1. Follower count is not an important metric when you are estimating your Pinterest earning potential. Your pins engagement i.e. repins & comments are more important. More repins definitely means more traffic & sales.

2. NEVER EVER use any URL redirects. This will block both url & may also restrict your account.

3. Use google keyword suggestions tool to optimize your Pins description. Its the same people who search on google and pinterest, so search trends and terms remain the same.

4. To improve search rankings on Pinterest, a) Use right size images (minimum width 600px and height 1.25x Width), b) Get pins repinned preferably into boards with names containing keywords that you are targeting.

In short, crowdsourcing your pinterest marketing and not stuffing your boards with pins containing affiliate links is the right way to create a system that will generate a passive income source for you.

It is my request to you to give Pinwoot a try to get some real repins, followers and schedule & auto-promote pins, its free and our users have witnessed upto 100% growth in traffic and 15% increase in sales via Pinterest within few weeks of using Pinwoot.

Good luck. :)

What is your income generated from? Ad click revenue? Are you uploading niche/genre specific images related to your sites content?

I like this thread since I've been doing some pinterest spamming lately. About two weeks ago I pinned 2k of my own images on just one account, all linking to the same landing page. Three days later I started getting a lot of activity. Tons of repins every day and about 200-300 visitors per day. Attached is my income from just this small test. Now if only pinterest would stop updating their site so often I should be able to duplicate this and scale up. My bot keeps needing to be updated because of pinterest updating their site.

Hey guys OP here.Sorry I haven't posted in awhile.Been pretty busy trying to get other projects rolling. As most of you know my original account was banned in July and in August I started using a aged Pinterest account with 34 followers and a handfull of pins.

Well,i'm still working that account when I have time and I have about 7000 followers and 9000 pins.Currently i'm getting 1500 hits a day, everyday to my Clickbank account.Unfortunately i'm not getting alot of sales.I had a few $100 days and a few $50 days and its really random.

I'm still doing blogger redirects and only had one of my blogs marked as spam.I will one day go through and change the URL on all those. It seems like when I follow people real people who have real accounts i'll get sales. But its really hard to find real accounts.I find real accounts by looking at there profile pic and look at there followers and see if they have a real profile pic.I then follow them and all there followers. This works great. But very hard.I talked about this in a earlier post.

Basically if you are in a good niche with mass appeal, you need to weed out all the fake accounts and try your best to follow real people. Its just like email-marketing.If you got a good list of people, the more you will make.

Another thing happening on Pinterest, and this is why your URL's are getting banned is your competition is flagging your URL's so they can stay on top. It's the same thing that happened on craigs-list with the mass flagging. The way to not fall victim to this is pick a niche that nobody else is doing.Like a micro niche.Thats what i've been doing from day one.

So to sum it up.You gotta stay under Pinterest's radar and your competitions radar.Do these tips and you will see greater results.

Does anyone have any large group boards I could get an invite to? I only post like once a week so I won't clog your board up.

Hey, do you guys have any good imacros you could share? I am mainly looking for follow/unfollow but others are welcome too.

Thanks in advance

When you say you pin 100 images a day, do you mean you pin 100 images per board or is it for entire account?
