Pinterest Discussion Thread <<<<<<<Lets Branstorm

Here's another tip for you guys. When you get board invites, don't accept every board you get.Accept boards only in your niche.Don't accept boards with less than 1500-2000 followers.Only approve a board that is not in your niche if it is 4000 followers or over.

The reason for this is to weed out spammers. You don't want a account about "pet care" then accept boards with people selling shoes.Looks spammy right? If it looks spammy to you it definately looks spammy to other people.

Just something to think about.

a group board is only worth blasting if it has at least 5k followers.
but, i usually accept most of the invites i get.

i somewhat agree with you though about not accepting spammy boards since it will probably end up landing you less legit invites because legit people will think you look like a spammer.

I am using Pinblaster with a lot of accounts and US proxies. Strangely it is letting me follow people today non-stop. But posting is really playing up

i'm trying to do the same :) how it goes? how many visits a day you have? how many sites?

Im using 62 accounts and linking to 8 of my sites. They are all getting decent traffic. Havent posted any more pins today though.

let's say that I have 10 accounts in one niche, and 1 site with a squeeze page.. And everyday I will pin/repin with those 10 accounts to the same url? what will happen?

Curious, do you guys try to imitate a Pinterest infatuated woman, or try to create an authority type page?

Example, is your username jhenderson5 or deliciouscupcakess?

Trying to hop back onto Pinterest, I'm wondering if acting like a normal user is the best way to go or not.

Making an authority account is always better :D

I just want to chime in and say I'm getting the "Wow! That's a lot of pins" message on all of my accounts all of a sudden as well. I don't think it's related to my accounts in particular and rather is just a change on Pinterest as a whole, likely related to uploading pins (I can still repin when I'm getting this message).

The obvious solution is just to pin much more slowly, and to offset that you'll just need more accounts. ;)

I have never got the "Wow" message before and I pinned 700 images yesterday. That warning may be to prevent spam.I read on Pinterest that your account can have a maximum of 100,000 pins and they even encourage you to make a new account after you hit that limit.

I have been using settings of 20 - 240 seconds delay for a long time on pins. I will change it today and try 100 - 120 delay for all ins and see what happens. Did you post that 700 ove a 24 hour period or shorter?

I am using Pinblaster too and I am making like 1500 repins a day from one account with 40/100 delay and there is not a problem. Are you guys pinning to group boards or you pin to your own boards?

Im pinning to my own boards. I've been experimenting today and repins works without a message. Content poster and scraped pns with or without links get the "wow thats a lot message" . Just tried contest poster without proxies and still the same "wow" message. I shall carry on experimenting.

I posted the 700 pins in about 16 hours.

method: have at least 2 accounts. account 1 will pin to a brand new board with no followers. account 2 will then re-pin all those pins. you guys are saying that repinning is fine so there you go. this might also bring new followers to your new board, i like to call these boards "clean boards". spread your followers across multiple accounts, again, multiple accounts is key.

There You go.I use the same method and there isn't a problem.

Its a very strange problem today. I have also tried with an old account and got the "wow" message after 8 pins. The account had plenty of boards and I havent used it for some time. I noticed also on the thread for the other Pinterest tool that they are getting problems at 15 pins today. Maybe this is something Pinterest are rolling out. Who knows!

Did you pin from

a) same domain with one url
b) same domain with many urls (8 in your case)
c) different domains

I have same problems but I think Pinterest shows "wow" message for same domain, in my case same domain with different urls. Right now I pinned about 50 pins (40-60 sec delay) from different domains and its still ok (no "wow" message at all)

See I'm using Blogspot and switch around between 8 Blogspot blogs..I can pin 1000 pins in one day with no issues but I usually pin 300-500 with no delay in Ninja Pinner.I only have 4 boards and I only do most of my posting to one board.

I tried with and without links in the scraped pins and still got the same problem. I also tried using pinterest and google as the pin link so its a bit weird for me. I am only having problems with content poster on old and new accounts. I have just noticed that scraping users is getting stuck at 42 tonight. Maybe someone else is seeing this too.
