Pinterest Discussion Thread <<<<<<<Lets Branstorm

I have my personal account with 3500 followers. They are not from a specific niche. I also have access to some good community boards which get me access to some 77k+ followers in food niche but I havent seen any conversion yet. Perhaps it is because my blogger is not very well setup. How are you guys getting sales with 2000 followers only? are you repinning and liking your own pins from different accounts?

Moreover, I really need access to more community boards. If somebody wants to exchange board invites he is welcome.

Mum only using one account and I've made 12 sales so far and it's increasing.Just pick a niche and stick to it..I only use one board to pin to.I have 2200 followers now.

Figured I would throw up a screenshot of my Clickbank earnings on this for this Pinterest account and explain to you what I know now.

So,once I saw my first sale with this account using Pinterest,I started pinning and following.Everytime I am active on my account I get no sales. As soon as my account sits for a day I start getting sales. Each time I get more sales. Not counting the refunds after each run with no sales my earnings increase.

I have been working my account the past three days and i'm pinning today and following people.I'm going to stop at midnight and let the account sit.Tomorrow I wont get sales but hopefully the day after tomorrow if i'm right about this I should see more than $63

It is odd but I think I figured out why.I think when i'm pinning,Pinterest ghosts my account for 2 days then when it's not ghosted I start seeing sales. When I get sales for 2 days and the third day I don't see sales for most of the day I will start being active on my account then no sales for 2-3 days.

I'm not sure if this is what is happening exactly but it seems that way.I will post another earnings screenshot in 3 days and if I have more earning then it's a 85% chance i'm right about this.

I won't show you my blogger but I will give you advice..Try repinning popular pins in your niche not just random pins.

Looks like letting my account sit does work.I got one sale yesterday and one sale today. As of right now I have made about $210 this week..Not bad seeing my account isn't even a month old yet.I estimated I would get to $100 a day in 4 months,$700 a week but looks like I might hit that goal sooner.

I did follow some people today that's it..Monday I will start pinning again. How are you guys doing with Pinterest?

I recentlystarted with pinterest. My strategy: I created 6 boards, scraped pics and scheduledthem for 2 month. Basically I'm pinning every day to each board. I'm gettingrepins on some pins, but I'm not getting followers. Only 1-3 per day. I wantedto test a couple things to find out what brings the most followers, but it'snot worked like I wanted.

It seemsthat your strategy is better. You pin a lot of pins in 1 day and then you donothing for the next 2-3 days. Right? Do you follow people by your category or bykeywords?

I'll pin for a few days and follow people then take 1-3 days off.I try to follow real people, not make or spam accounts.

Yeah I follow real people too. My goal is to make a legit account and to avoid spam behavior. Thats why I schedule pins like 6-10 per day per board.
I will try your method, will look how it goes.

You will be safe if you did 100 pins a day if your account is new..You will get more traffic..Im using a aged account so I can pin more.

Hmm. It's an interesting thread. I am new to the Pinterest game, started it barely a month ago. Quick note about my strategy that has seemed to work...

1) Make your money page a Pinterest clone site. Make it look as much like pinterest as possible
2) Absolutely NO redirects or cloaking. You won't need ANY of it with this method
3) Use PinBlaster. I has a LOT of options other than just the multi-account shotgun method. I only have ONE Pinterest account. Barely a month old. Brand new. I have received NO warnings. No copyright issues, no bans, etc. And I Pin >1,000 pins per day, sometimes more. They key is ... I do not FOLLOW anyone. I just let my stuff trickle out there and let follows come to me.
4) Go on Fiverr and get a couple of custom plugins written for WordPress. They key here is you need those plugins to receive any posts you are sending from PinBlaster, then post on their individual POST URLs (obviously), then insert Adsense code above and below, then use the Pinterest API to post it as a UNIQUE picture to Pinterest with its own UNIQUE URL on your site
5) Make sure you verify your site with Pinterest. Host it on your own domain you have control over. Pinterest loves that.
6) Watermark EVERY SINGLE PICTURE you send with your official domain/logo lock. Make it look PRO. Not cheesey. Make it a vertical strip on the right like 9gag does it, but with a logo somewhere. Even make it a little too small to read. Trust me. It won't matter.
7) Make sure to run your batch watermarking program on EVERYTHING you scrape, whether off of pinterest or wherever. TSR Watermark is free. Use it. It does very weel and takes about 25 seconds to surgically watermark ~1,000 images
8) Occasionally, and FROM A MOBILE DEVICE login to your account daily and repin 5-10 images in your niche organically. No comments needed.
9) If Pinterest does contact you, take an aggressive whitehat attitude. Present your money site as a like-minded, inspirational / educational portal for people who need help find certain imagery in that niche. Do not back away from ANYTHING on your site. Acknowledge pinning large quantities per day using API automation. Make sure you VERIFY your site with them with a verification file! Let them know that every single image you have there will be pinned on pinterest because your IT department set it up that way. Do NOT be afraid of them! They will latch on to anything weak you say in an email and will ban your ass so quickly it will make your head spin.
10) Do NOT follow ANYONE. buy followers on PinWoot or a trsuted Fiverr vendor if you want to, in my experience, doesn't really help that much persay.
11) Post to group boards, but NOT with spam. Only good quality shots that are relevant. Trust me. That will get the job done easily.

That's it. Pin like crazy at that point. 1,000/day is what I am doing. No worries. You can even scrape other photos FROM Pinterest and feed them back INTO Pinterest watermarked, AS LONG AS THEY SHOW UP IN THEIR OWN UNIQUE URL ON YOUR OWN VERIFIED MONEY PAGE WITH YOUR WATERMARK. You see at that point, I don't think Pinterest CAN issue a copyright warning, because they won;t know whose picture it really is, and you got a unique URL, verified site, and a matermark on yours. Only a directed copyright claim would be respected and those are RARE.

I am less than a month in. I have only 50 followers total. I make $40/day on Adsense. Go figure.

UPDATE! Sorry! I forgot,... Use hashtags! Go to Tumblr and see what hastags are used there for your keywords, and use the same ones on Pinterest. There is a difference in some cases, and using the slightly varied ones brings in better mroe unique traffic I have found. Also, use AT LEAST three hashtags in each post. All different (they can be the same 3 for 1000 posts obviously).

that's it!
