Physical Phone Farm

Running 10 S22s is fine if you stagger activity and use unique accounts, but adding other models is just insurance.

For the phone farm pros running physical phone farms with 10+ of the same device model. Are there any risks at all in not having varied models or is it way too broad for IG for example to make any linkages between the phones.

Say im running 10 samsung s22 (all have their sim) for gore theme pages

vs

10 varied samsung models (s22; a15; a16 etc..) also for gore theme pages

Obviously I know having varied is always better but does it really make a difference? Could they actually link the phones together if its 10 samsung s22's for example instead of 10 varied models?

Running Same models only affects barely something like ~5% or so I assume. You could better spend your energy at other places in the process.

Honestly, focusing on device variety might be overthinking it consistent behavior and content quality usually matter more than the exact phone model lineup.

Using mixed models is always safer but if each phone has its own SIM, IP, and activity pattern, you’ll likely be fine even with the same model.

I think this depends on the number of smartphones of the same model and where they are located. If you have 20 of the same model in the center of a big city where there are many people connecting to the same antenna, you will not have a problem, if there are 100 doing the same thing always on the same antenna it will be different, but if you do it in a small town and suddenly there are 20-100 identical phones doing the same thing always connected to the same antenna, this can set off alarms.

I think that 10 you should not have problems, but I also think that it will depend on the number of accounts that each phone runs.

In any case, try not to attract attention with too many actions.

Running 10 identical S22s isn’t instantly fatal, but it does raise fingerprint patterns if other signals (IP, timing, behavior) align. I’ve seen setups last fine with uniform devices, but mixing models and firmware adds a nice extra “noise layer.” In short — not mandatory, but smart insurance.

I was wondering about whether it makes a difference or not to not have a sim card inside the phones for apps like Instagram. Or maybe inserting a sim without data and using a proxy instead makes it look more realistic

Short answer: Yes – there is a higher risk when using the same device model. But it’s not just the model. Instagram (and Facebook, Meta in general) doesn’t rely on just the device model name to link accounts. They use a set of device fingerprinting

If your setup’s clean different IPs, SIMs, and user behavior using the same model probably won’t matter much. IG’s more focused on patterns than device names.

If you use an App cloner, automatically you will have different device credentials, regardless of the phone model you are using.

Honestly, using all S22s is fine if your setup’s clean — SIMs, proxies, and accounts separated. Model variety helps a bit, but IG mostly flags network, behavior, and account patterns, not phone model.
Do you happen to know if i can setup a phone farm cleanly but to use it to boost GMB local listings using the phones to do driving directions to the business location.?

Yea, if you can afford it, it is good to mix up the models etc. I think S22 is like $150-$250 per phone, so there are def a lot of other options you can use to diversify.

just make sure each phone is using different network, you can use sim card network on each phone, this can help to avoid IG flagged ip, also there is some secret's you will know over time during your usage,

all the same, better one revision, so all have same latest os version and easy mirror controlling

Yes, using all the same model makes it easier for Instagram to link the devices. Mixing models adds randomness and lowers the chance they get flagged together. So, it does make a real difference.
Hello brother,

Do have now a Phone farm sytem or know how to setup that?

there should be no problem. anyway, if you aware of linkings, go for ios farm, way less fingerprint.
