Hello,
I always wanted to become a photographer and I feel if I dont start now, it wont ever happen.

I am thinking of doing glamour and maybe xxx shoots and open a membership website.

I am also thinking of setting up my own studio (instead of renting every time), so guys if you have ideas of setting up a studio, pictures, advice, experience, the Do's and Dont's, please help me.#

What do you guys think of the overall idea, do you think it can earn me enough money?

Go to work for someone who already does, and has all of that. You will be getting paid to learn what you need.
 
how big is your pocket ?

all stuff you need cost big $$ (digital SLRs, stands, lights, place ,rent ..... )

do you have any background in photography ?
also Photosop is a must if you are serious abouth photography ..

Huh, I am a newbie.
I will be doing a course in Photoshop, been trying to look for online courses.
Yeah the equipment gonna be expensive, but I am guessing I can get a return on investment after 1 year only. Depends how and where I market the website which I guess gonna be expensive also to make.
The place gonna be one floor in my house.
 
hmm yeah definitely try to find a tog on model mayhem first to help out
 
Since you are a good photographer i would also suggest you trying the stock photography, it can make you some decent reccuring money.
 
What's the membership website for? I see plenty of struggling photographers out there. Don't think it's going to be easy. You will need more than just glamor shots to keep your business running.
 
kee pyour cost low and try to sell stock photos .... there is a thread where someone is making with it with backgrounds and stuff as far i remember.

a studio will cost a LOT depending on where you are.. keep in mind that studios. need to be big for all the lights sets screens etc. I know someone in Toronto who has one and it costs roughly 3k per month. then you also need to deal with people who cancel on you or sometimes just don't come AMD you never hear from again.

3K per month wow.. Thats a damn lot. Also I heard that the equipment use lots of electricity.

i read your original stock photo post, very helpful, i just wanna try this, and i already have a scraped image and signup for some sites, im ready

could you tell me if u still earn from it and what tips you can kindly share with me

just rent a castle by the month. They are great locations. There are organisations in Europe that are in desperate need for tenants of such big building.s You pay a hundred bucks a month and can live there until they find a buyer. You will need to take care of minor maintenance work and keep it in good condition in return.

If you would read it carefully you would see the answer to that is yes, i still earn moeny from that. All the tips are shared there,
i did not invent the wheel. I just did it and saw it makes money but dont just upload it, i did it differently and also customized
the photos.
 
I'm a photographer, its not easy, especially if you want to photograph people and expect to make any money, there are soo many photographers that will do it for free,
 
Start small, try it out first, you can hire glamour, softcore models for pretty cheap. Then try selling it, as long as you are not doing it to put food on the table and with no pressure, you are OK. Then after a while you will see if that is something you are really good at. Keep in mind there is a lot of competition in the adult content market, but if you are talented, then the sky's the limit...
 
i think reddit has the best xxx photos, and its is free, so what you got?
 
You can go on stocks and sell your pics there, try to grow some client base and promote your own services at your website
